液晶显示背光源热分析软件开发

Design on Thermal Analysis Software of LCD Backlighting

【摘要】 液晶面板本身并不发光,为了达到显示目的,液晶面板通常要装配上能够提供光照强度的背光源照亮显示区域。实现良好的散热是液晶显示背光源发展的主要瓶颈之一。为提前预知液晶显示背光源工作温度,可以借助有限元数值模拟技术进行背光源热特性分析。本文主要使用有限元分析软件ANSYS,对液晶显示背光源进行热分析仿真实验。首先建立所选灯型较完整的模型,根据模型简化原则对该模型进行简化。通过多次对比仿真实验,逐个探究简化模型相关参数与背光源温度梯度之间的关系。最后将数值模拟结果与实验测试结果进行对比,并多次修正数值模拟中仿真模型的几何尺寸和载荷条件,确保了仿真过程的准确性,同时该简化模型也具有“开发性”。确保模型的准确性之后,结合Visual Basic软件开发出实用性较强的专门针对液晶显示背光源的热分析软件。该软件实现了通过用户在软件界面填写参数,软件自动进行背光源热分析计算并显示热分析结果。可以使用户高效完成液晶显示背光源散热的优化设计,缩短了设计周期,达到了预期效果。

【Abstract】 Liquid crystal faceplate doesn’t have luminescent properties itself, so if it isused to display, a backlight which could supply appropriate luminescence intensityis required. Backlights are key components in LCD products. One of the bottleneckproblems of the development of LCD backlighting is how to realize good heatdissipation. In order to predict the operation temperature of LCD backlight sources,the finite element numerical simulation is applied to analyze the thermal feature ofback light sources.Thermal analysis simulation is carried out in this thesis with the help of FEMsimulation software ANSYS to analyze the heat properties of LCD backlighting. Toensure the accuracy of the simulation, firstly, a relatively complete model is set upand then simplified according to simplification principle. The relationship betweenthe correlation parameters of the simplified model’s every component and thetemperature gradient of LCD backlighting sources is investigated individually byconcluding simulation results.After comparing the result of numerical simulation with the experimentresults, geometric sizes and loading conditions are revised repeatedly to establish aprecise simulation model, and this model can also be explored for furtherapplication.Once the accuracy of the simulation model is ensured, a practical softwaredesigned for thermal analysis of LCD backlight sources is developed,which iscombined with Visual Basic.This software can automatically analyze backlightsources and display the result according to the parameters which are filled in thesoftware interface by users, it’s very convenient to those people who are notfamiliar with the finite element theory to complete the thermal design of LCDbacklight sources efficiently.
