文化保守主义视域下的李长之文艺思想探析

【摘要】 李长之是中国现代文学批评史上一位非常有特色的批评家。作为京派成员之一,他的文艺思想颇具文化保守主义色彩。李长之的文化保守主义倾向集中体现在他对现代性的渴望与反思以及对中国传统文化的维护上。“感情的批评主义”是李长之现代性反思在文艺批评上的流露。情感体验既是李长之批评的方法,也是其批评的着眼点。“感情的批评主义”要求我们深入作品中体会的不光是情感,更是体验种种张扬的生命力。文化保守主义在很大程度上是自由主义与传统主义的结合。李长之极力追求一种自由的批评精神。针对批评界存在的浅薄愚妄的状况,李长之提倡一种“理智的硬性”。“理智的硬性”不仅要求文学批评要有生命的呼声,要求爱或憎都应该强烈,还要求文学在研究上也是一种科学。传统文化是李长之批评领域中一个非常重要的维度。李长之对传统文化价值的挖掘不仅是为了中国传统文化的继续发展,更是为了重建国民精神以及解决现代人的生存困境。然而在一个传统的效力尚且待定的时代,这样的愿望注定只能是一个心造幻影。

【Abstract】 Li Changzhi is a very distinctive critic in the history of Chinese modern literary criticism. As a member of jing-pie, his literary thoughts has the characteristics of Cultural Conservatism, which is embodied in the anxiety of modernity and the maintenance of chinese traditional culture. Emotional criticism is the result of Li-Changzhi’s reflection on modernity. Emotional experience is not only the method of criticism,but also his foothold. The essence of the Conservatism is the Liberalism. Li Changzhi tried to pursue a free sprit of criticism. In response to confusing condition of the critics, Li Changzhi advocated The Stiff of reason. He insisted that literary research is a kind of science, and the critics should have strong feelings. Traditional culture is a very important dimension in Li-Changzhi’s criticism field. Li Changzhi tried to discover the true value of cultural celebrities. It is not only to develop the chinese trational culture, but also to reconstruct the national spirit and resolve the living predicament of modern humans. This paper attempts to analyse Li-Changzhi’s literary thought, from the perspective of Cultural Conservatism.
