图像采集与预处理系统设计及FPGA实现

【摘要】 随着图像采集、处理技术以及电子技术的不断发展和日趋成熟,图像采集系统被广泛应用于图像模式识别、远程监控、工业控制以及相关的军事领域,已经成为了该领域的研究热点。随着ASIC、DSP以及FPGA器件的发展及应用,图像采集系统获取了一些新的技术途径,基于FPGA的图像采集系统成为了当前图像处理领域的发展趋势。本文首先对图像采集与处理系统的国内外研究现状进行了分析,介绍了图像采集系统的设计构架,在此基础上提出了本文采用的基于FPGA的图像采集与预处理系统的总体设计思路和方案。其次,重点对图像预处理技术中的中值滤波算法和均值滤波算法进行了研究和对比分析。本文对图像采集与预处理系统的硬件电路设计进行了详细阐述,给出了系统硬件电路设计总体及各部分电路设计方法及具体电路,包括了图像采集电路设计、图像存储电路设计、图像预处理电路设计、图像显示电路设计以及系统电源电路设计。对FPGA内部功能模块设计进行了研究,在给出图像采集与预处理系统内部功能框图的基础上,对各部分主要功能模块的实现方法进行了详细阐述,包括了图像采集模块、图像缓存模块、VGA显示模块、中值滤波模块、均值滤波模块以及滤波控制模块等。对主要功能模块进行了仿真,验证了其功能的正确性。对图像预处理技术中的中值滤波算法和均值滤波算法,通过SignalTapⅡ在线调试、Matlab仿真、Modelsim仿真相结合的方法,对其滤波性能进行了仿真验证,并对比分析了两种滤波算法的实际效果。最后讨论了该课题研究中尚存在的一些问题以及今后进一步研究的方向。

【Abstract】 With the continuous development of the image acquisition, image processing and electronic technology, the image acquisition system has been widely applied in the fields of pattern recognition, remote monitoring, industrial control and military, and it has become a research hotspot in this field. With the development and application of ASIC, DSP and FPGA, a new technical way for image acquisition system has been provided. The image acquisition system based on FPGA has become the development trends in the field of image processing.Firstly, the research situation of the image acquisition and processing system at home and abroad was analyzed and the structure of the image acquisition system was introduced in the paper. The whole design ideas and scheme of the image acquisition and pre-processing system based on FPGA were proposed on the basis of the structure of the image acquisition system. Secondly, the algorithm of median filter and the algorithm of mean filter included in image pre-processing technology were studied and analyzed comparatively. The design of hardware circuits of the image acquisition and pre-processing system were described in detail in the paper and the whole design of hardware circuit and the design of the various parts of the circuit was given, including the design of image acquisition circuit, image storage circuit, image pre-processing circuit, image display circuit and system power circuit. The design of internal function module based on FPGA was studied. The internal function block diagram of image acquisition and pre-processing system based on FPGA was given and the implementation methods of the main function modules were described in detail, including image acquisition module, image cache module, VGA module, median filter module, mean filter module and filtering control module and so on. The main function modules were simulated and the correctness of the main function modules was verified.The filtering performance of the median filter algorithm and mean filter algorithm in the image pre-processing technology were simulated and verified through the combination of SignalTapⅡ on-line debugging, Matlab simulation and Modelsim simulation. The actual effects of two filtering algorithms were compared. Finally, the existing problems in the study of the topic and the directions of the future research were discussed.
