【摘要】 影视载体是人类文化传播交流的重要方式。影视翻译尤其是字幕翻译在其中发挥着不可否认的重要的作用。然而,影视翻译作为一个新兴的研究领域,因缺乏理论框架和方法论的指导,尚面临着许多问题,在文化意象的翻译上显得尤为突出。关联理论将翻译视为译者同目的读者之间的交际行为,成功的翻译应当实现交际中的最佳关联。本文创新性的将关联理论引入影视翻译研究,通过对观众认知环境的分析找出翻译文化意象的难点所在,并以关联理论为指导原则,提出了具体可行的翻译策略。本文依托实例,以求为影视字幕翻译实践提供理论依据和方法上的参考。论文首先介绍了关联理论产生的背景及其几个重要概念;其次,总结了中外影视翻译的发展历程及目前存在的问题,提出了将关联理论应用于字幕翻译的可行性;论文的第三章探讨了字幕的特点和局限性,分析并比较了三位学者对字幕翻译中文化意象的翻译策略;论文第四章以关联理论中的最佳关联为导向,结合实例提出了几种有效的字幕翻译方法,包括扩充法、替换法、删减法和直译法。由此得出结论,关联理论对于影视翻译中的跨文化问题有极强的解释力,是指导字幕翻译的有效的理论工具。更多还原

【Abstract】 One of the most important ways for human beings to communicate and transfer culture is through the audiovisual text. Audiovisual Translation, especially subtitle translation plays an undeniable role in this process. However, as a newly developed branch of research, Audiovisual Translation still faces numbers of problems for lack of theoretical frames and methodological tools. This problem is particular acute when it comes to the translation of cultural related expressions.Relevance theory regards translation as communication between the translator and target reader. A successful translation should achieve the optimal relevance. This thesis innovatively introduces the relevance theory into the study of Audiovisual Translation. The difficulty of translating cultural related expressions lies in the difference of cognitive environments among audience from different cultures. .This thesis attempts to study subtitle translation on the basis of relevance theory and deduce some practical strategies of subtitle translation under the guidance of it, hoping to give some theoretical and methodological reference for subtitle translation.This thesis starts with the overview of the theoretical foundation of the relevance theory and its main concepts and ideas; then summarizes the development of Audiovisual Translation from home and abroad, pointing out the feasibility of applying the relevance theory into subtitle translation; then analyzes the features and constraints of subtitles and compares three translation strategies on subtitling; lastly, the thesis proposes several practical translation strategies on the basis of relevance theory, such as: Expansion, Substitution, Omission and Direct translation. At the end of the thesis, the conclusion is draw that relevance theory is a valid instrument for Audiovisual Translation and can properly solve the problems concerning the translation of cultural related expressions.更多还原
