基于CPLD的电源控制板的设计与开发

【摘要】 高端电源的主控板经历了从模拟控制到数字控制的发展。最开始使用模拟器件的参数受外界影响较大,而且难以灵活的设计和控制。与模拟控制相比较,数字控制具有可靠性高,参数调整方便,更改控制策略灵活,控制精度高,对环境因素不敏感等优点。现在较通用的大多都是采用单片机来做控制,但单片机的处理能力有限,由于需要处理的数据量大,实时性和精度要求高,单片机往往不再能满足要求。论文实现基于Altera公司的MAXⅡ系列的EPM2210控制芯片的电源控制板的设计。该电源控制板可以实现对电流电压信号高速采样,并根据用户设定的参数控制PWM信号输出,利用旋转编码器控制VFD真空荧光屏显示测量量的有效值和更改电源控制板工作状态和参数,还可以通过开关量以及DA输出跟外部设备通信互联。为了方便调试和通讯,设有各种通讯接口,包括JTAG、UART、和主从同步端口等。平台的硬件采用6层PCB设计,节省了成本,能稳定运行在50MHz,达到了预期的性能要求。论文完成如下几个方面的工作。首先,根据各个功能模块的应用和性能要求,选择相应的功能芯片和外围电路,绘制原理图、PCB,完成系统的硬件平台;其次,完成对各个硬件模块的仿真,主要是完成在Quartus II环境下进行各个硬件接口以及采样数据处理的Verilog HDL语言编写。最后,对硬件平台进行测试。

【Abstract】 The history of the electric power controller has been developed from analog devices to digital devices. The parameters of analog devices are liable to be disturbed by external surroundings with low precision. Compared with the analog devices, digital devices are more liable, and easy to be adjusted, and have strong ability to resist the environment influence. Most of the controllers on the market are made by SCM, but SCM can not process enough data for demanding. Now there are more and more data bit to process in limited time and the results must be accurate, which SCM can not meet the need, so the designers start to design the CPLD into controller, which has more ability in calculation.The power controller board of this paper is based on the EPM2210 CPLD of Altera MAX II series. The power controller can sample the current and the voltage in high sample rate, and output the PWM signal according to the parameters which is set by users. It can also control the VFD by rotating encoder to display the values of current, voltage and the power, or reset the working mode and the parameters. It communicates with other equipments through I/O ports and the DA output. There are some interfaces and ports dedicated for testing and communicating, including JTAG, UART and the master-slave synchronization port. The PCB of this platform is designed in 6 layers, saving the cost and working stable in 50MHz, which can achieve the performance request.This paper is mainly about the several parts listed below:First, according to the applications’ needs and expansibility of the power controller board, divide the functions into several parts to build the functional architecture, the main functional chips are chose and the peripheral circuit is designed, the schematic and PCB board are finished, the hardware platform is implemented.Second, the simulation of each hardware module is accomplished, mainly about compiling the Verilog HDL language for the interfaces of different chips and processing the data from ADCs under the software Quartus II.Finally, the hardware platform is tested, also the reliability and the safety is analyzed.
