摩托罗拉基站自动监控系统设计与实现

【摘要】 本论文研究了一种方法来增强摩托罗拉GSM无线系统OMC-R(操作维护中心)的功能,在原有OMC-R没有声光告警的情况下,实现了基站监控的声光告警和短信通知功能。摩托罗拉GSM无线系统,包括摩托罗拉BSC(基站控制器)和BTS(基站),是通信企业广泛采用的通信设备系统。由于该GSM无线系统的OMC-R采用Solaris操作系统,没有配置音箱和声卡,故不提供声光告警的功能。该OMC-R不便于通信企业及时发现和处理故障,容易发生故障处理的延误现象,从而影响到通信网络的客户感知。论文通过设计一种与摩托罗拉无线系统OMC-R自动交互的软件(命名为"SuperHost"软件),自动完成设备状态检测、数据采集、定时发送控制指令等智能化批处理任务。通过"SuperHost"软件,可以实现自动监控摩托罗拉GSM无线系统、通过PC机音箱产生声光告警、通过短信猫发送通知短信到维护人员手机的功能。通过应用该自动监控系统,湖南移动湘潭分公司有效提高了故障监控的及时性。当BTS发生故障时,计算机终端能够在5分钟内检测出故障,发出声光告警,并发送短信通知维护人员处理通信故障。从而实现了及时有效地处理故障、提升了客户的满意程度。该"SuperHost"软件的核心原理,是基于telnet协议与OMC-R进行交互,代替维护人员,自动发送检测基站状态的指令。维护人员可以通过编写脚本来控制发送何种类型的检测指令、控制从OMC-R反馈回来的信息应当如何处理,从而实现对自动交互过程的控制。本文为如何设计和开发自动监控系统和无人值守系统提供了思路,同时"SuperHost"软件如果做细微改动,可以适用于串行端口自动交互控制的情况,可以广泛应用于各个通信设备厂商的无线系统和交换系统的自动化监控领域。

【Abstract】 This paper studies a method to enhance the function of Motorola GSM wireless systems OMC-R (operation maintenance center). In original situation without the audio visual alarm function, it has realized the function of audio visual alarm warning with base station monitoring and the function of SMS notifications.Motorola GSM wireless systems, including Motorola BSC (Base Station Controller) and BTS (base station), is communications equipment system widely used in the communications business. Because this GSM wireless system’s OMC-R uses the Solaris operating system and has not disposed the sound box and the sound card, it does not provide the audio visual alarm warning’s function. This OMC-R is not advantageous for the correspondence enterprise to detect and handle corporate communications failure, make the corporate easy to have the-failure processing delayed, thus it affects the customers’sensation of communication network.This paper designs one kind of automatic interactive software with the Motorola wireless system OMC-R (to name as "SuperHost" software), which completes intelligent batch tasks such as the device status examination, the data acquisition, transmitting intellectualizations with fixed time automatically and so on. Through "SuperHost" software, it may realize the function of automatic monitoring Motorola GSM wireless system, the function of audio visual alarm through the PC machine sound box and the function of transmiting notice short message to the maintainers’handset through the short message modem. Through the application of the automatic monitoring and controlling system, Hunan Mobile Xiangtan branch has improved effetiveness of the fault monitoring. When BTS breaks down, the computer terminal can detect malfunction in 5 minutes,then send out the audio visual alarm to report an emergency, and transmit the short message informing maintainers to process the correspondence failure. Thus it realizes the processing damage effectively and upgrades the customer satisfaction.The "SuperHost" software is based on the core principles of Telnet protocol with OMC-R, instead of maintenance personnel to interact with OMC-R, to send commands automatically detecting base station’s state. Maintenance personnel can control sending what type of inspection commands by writing a script and handle feedback information from OMC-R so as to achieve automatic interaction process control.This paper provides ideas about how to design and develop automatic control system and the unattended system. At the same time "SuperHost" software can be applied to the serial port automated interactive control if it is minor changed, which can be widely used in various automatic monitoring field of wireless systems and exchange system by various communication equipment manufacturers.
