高职学生英语词汇学习的行动研究

【摘要】 最近几年高职高专教育正以迅猛的速度发展,它是中国现代化建设中高级技术人才的摇篮,为现代化建设培养了许多栋梁之材,并成为高等教育中非常重要的一部分。而英语作为高等职业教育中必不可少的一科,就必须受到关注和重视。词汇作为英语学习的三要素之一,在英语学习中占据着非常重要的地位。由于高等职业学院学生的特殊性,词汇学习对于他们来说更加成为一个亟待解决的问题。本文为了解决学生词汇学习效果差的问题,以认知心理学中的信息加工理论为基础,把词汇习得分成输入、中心处理和输出三个阶段,构建词汇习得模式进行了实证研究。全文共分五个部分。第一部分是引言,论述了高职词汇习得现状。第二部分是关于国内外词汇习得理论研究现状的阐述,并对认知心理学中的信息加工理论做了介绍。第三部分是研究的具体方案及实施过程。第四部分是数据的收集与分析。本文运用SPSS13软件对数据进行了分析,增加了研究结果的科学性。最后一部分是提出研究的结论,说明不足,并对教学提出建议。以信息加工理论为基础的教学模式明显优于传统的词汇教学方法。运用这种教学模式能够提高学生词汇习得的能力,能够培养学生运用多种策略进行词汇习得的习惯。这种方法的运用也能够充分发挥教师的能动性,有效的调动学生学习的积极性。当然,想要更好的提高学生词汇习得的效果,在今后的教学中还要进一步探索和研究。

【Abstract】 Higher technical and vocational institution is developing very fast in recent years. It is the cradle of the advanced technical personnel in China’s modernization construction. It cultivates many useful people for our society. And it has become a very important part of higher education. English must be paid more attention to as an indispensable subject of the higher vocational education. So how to help the students study vocabularies well is very important. Due to the particularity of the students in higher vocational college, the improvement of vocabulary learning is becoming an urgent issue.The writer aims to solve the problem of vocabulary learning on the basis of the information processing theory in the paper. The writer constructs vocabulary acquisition learning mode during the research. There are five parts in the paper. The writer gives an introduction in the first part, where the writer elaborates on current situation of higher vocational students’vocabulary acquisition. In the second part the author is concerned with present situation of the theory on vocabulary acquisition at home and aboard. During this part, the author also makes an introduction on information processing theory of cognitive psychology. In the third part, the author introduces the concrete project and the implementation process. In the fourth part the author collects and analyzes the data. The analyzing result is more scientific by using SPSS 13. Finally the author comes to a conclusion, illustrates the deficiency and put forward the suggestions.Generally speaking, the result of the research shows that the vocabulary teaching model based on the information processing theory is better than traditional one. The students can’t improve their capability of vocabulary acquisition unless they form the habit of using different strategies to learn words. Of course, further studies are expected to perfect vocabulary acquisition.
