面向SLA的网络运行态势及链路性能分析技术的研究与实现

【摘要】 随着网络技术的不断发展,用户对网络服务的需求也不断扩大。面对同行竞争,服务提供商(Service Provider,SP)的服务种类和服务品质决定着其生存和发展。当用户在访问自己感兴趣的服务时,往往要求获得相应的服务品质比如IP网络中的带宽等,并与服务提供商或者网络运营商(Network Operation,NO)达成服务等级协议(Service Level Agreement,SLA)协议。SLA协议是一份关于服务品质等级的正式协议,它是服务提供商和客户双方经协商而确定的。为了遵循SLA协议,必须有一套面向SLA的网络运行监测系统对网络进行监测,及时了解当前网络所提供的服务品质。本文首先简述了SLA的相关概念,对其研究背景和发展现状进行了简要的阐述。同时对网络管理在网络监测中的作用进行了叙述。分析了面向SLA网络运行监测系统中的SLA参数选取及其到网络性能指标(Network Performance Metrics,NPM)的映射关系。链路的通断状态直接影响着网络中业务的正常进行,传统拓扑监测算法的不足之处在于监测收敛时间较长,为了提高链路监测的实时性,本文对传统拓扑监测算法上进行了改进。链路的服务质量(Quality of Service,QoS)参数值是衡量一条链路甚至整个网络业务的关键指标,本文设计了链路性能分析模块,将底层采集到的NPM转换成相应的链路QoS参数值并存储到数据库中。监控中心在监测运营商和客户的SLA业务的服务等级时,需要动态显示网络的运行态势。本文设计了专用客户端显示模块,为网管人员提供直观的可控的界面。网管员可以直观地了解所监测网络的实时动态服务级别。当网络服务品质降低时,及时告警,以便网关人员及时采取措施,避免违反和客户签定的SLA协议。基于上述设计,我们对电子科大清水河校园网进行动态监测,对获取的数据进行了详细分析,验证了相关设计的有效性和完整性。
【Abstract】 With the continuous development of Network technology, customer demand for network services also expanded. The face of peer competition, the service types and qualities of service providers determine the survival and development. When a customer access to the services of interest, they often ask for the corresponding Quality of Service such as IP network bandwith and reach Service Level Agreement with Service Provider or Network Operation. A Service Level Agreement is a formal negotiated agreement between two parties. It is a contract that exists between the Service Provider and the Customer.In order for SP to follow this agreement, we must have a SLA-based network monitoring system to monitor the network, keep abreast of the current network and application services running conditions.This paper firstly outlines the concept of SLA, and then it‘s research background and current study status are briefly described. Meanwhile, analysis network management role in the network monitoring. The SLA parameters selection and it’s affection to the NPM (Network Performance Metrics, network performance indicators) in SLA-based network monitoring system are analyzedThe state of the link affects the normal proceeding directly; the deficiency of the traditional topology monitoring algorithms is long link monitoring time. In order to improve the real-time performance, in this paper the traditional topology monitoring algorithms are improved. The QoS parameters of the link are the key indexes when measure a link or the whole network. In this paper, we designed the link efficiency analysis module. The main functions of it is turn the NPM(Network Performance Metrics) collected from bottom layer into the corresponding link QoS parameters and store them in the database.Dynamic display network situation is need in the monitoring of the SLA business service level in the Monitor-Center between the SP and Customes. In this paper a dedicated client display is designed to provider intuitive control interface for network administrators. They in real time、dynamic and intuitive understanding of the monitoring network service levels, when the network QoS decreases, SP in time adjust before in violation of the SLA signed with Customers.Based on the above designs, we dynamic monitoring the UESTC Qingshuihe campus network and analysis the data got. Verify the effectiveness and integrity of the related designs.
