CRT显示器小范围内精确控制色度和视觉特性化研究

【摘要】 随着信息时代的到来,计算机已应用到生活的各个领域,显示器成为信息输出的重要设备,其颜色精确控制及再现自然颜色成为色度学及数字技术重要的研究课题,是“所见即为所得”的彩色复制、Internet网上颜色信息的标准化交流、色度学基础研究等应用的基础。近年来由于阴极射线管(CRT)显示器的颜色控制的方便性,许多人眼视觉实验采用CRT显示器代替一般的光学方法,显示器显示色度的精确控制成为关键,精确控制必须对显示器进行颜色特性化,即确定显示器显存中数字驱动值与显示颜色三刺激值之间的对应关系。显示器特性化有多种方法,其中国际上普遍接受的方法有查找表法(LUT,Look Up Table)和GOG(gain,offset,gamma)方法,其中LUT方法的精度最高是0.42ΔE~*ab,比GOG略高一点,但是这个精度远远不能满足人眼视觉实验的要求。为此论文主要研究了CRT显示器小范围内颜色精确控制,并且也对视觉特性化方法进行了初步的研究。所完成的工作有:(1)实现了小范围内精确控制CRT显示器色度与色差。采用线性插值特性化方法,并提出小范围考虑三通道相互影响,实验表明该方法对色度L~*、a~*、b~*控制的精度分别是0.14,0.08,0.10;对三种色差CIELAB,CIE94和CIEDE2000控制精度分别是0.18,0.18,0.22。(2)研究了视觉特性化。通过闪烁测光方法对CRT显示器视觉特性化过程和精度进行了初步研究。实验表明该方法对三种色差CIELAB,CIE94和CIEDE2000控制精度分别是:6.80,6.80,12.86。(3)分析了视觉特性化过程中由于视觉估计偏差对特性化精度的影响。实验表明,GOG参数、最大亮度比、白场变化对特性化精度的影响分别是3.42ΔE~*ab、3.24ΔE~*ab、1.62ΔE~*ab。

【Abstract】 With the coming of information times,the computer has been applied in many fields,the computer-controlled display becomes an important output device,and accuracy control to its colorimetry is an important topic in color science and digital technology today,which is very practical in the fields as DTP(desktop publishing), viewing images on the internet and many other application.The CRT display has replaced the general optics facility in many visual experiments in recent years,and accurate and convenient control to colorimetry is the key in the visual experiments.Colorimetric characterization of the display,which transforms the digital values to the colorimetric ones in CIEXYZ space,is the method conducted usually.The characterization of CRT have many methods,and LUT(Look Up Table) and GOG(gain,offset,gamma) have been used generally.The best precision of characterization is 0.42ΔE*ab,but precision cannot satisfy the high request of the visual experiments.So accurate control to colorimetry of CRT display in small range and the visual characterization was researched in this paper.The following results were reached:(1) Accurate control to colorimetry in small range around color centers was realized. A method of color control in small range was presented,which adopted the linear interpolation and token into account the interaction of three channels.The experimental results show that characterization accuracies are 0.14,0.08,0.10 for CIE L*,a*,b* respectively,and 0.18,0.18,0.22 for three kinds of color differences of CIELAB,CIE94, CIEDE2000.(2) The method of visual characterization of CRT was researched.The process and accuracy of characterization were studied through flicker photometry experiment.The results show that characterization accuracies are 6.80,6.80,12.86 for three kinds of color differences of CIELAB,CIE94,CIEDE2000 respectively.(3) The characterization accuracies were analyzed for three processes of the estimate deviation in experiments of visual characterization.The results show that characterization deviation are 3.42ΔE*ab,3.24ΔE*ab,1.62ΔE*ab respectively in the estimate process of the GOG parameter,the channel luminance ratios,and the chromaticities of fluorescence.
