【摘要】 美国社区学院作为其高等教育体系中极具美国特色的教育形态,在美国高等教育的大众化以及后来的普及化历史进程中发挥了主要作用,一举奠定了其无可替代的地位。但是由于历史机遇及自身功能定位的原因致使社区学院一直处在美国高等教育体系的最底层,其所授予的副学士学位也仅仅是一种转学凭证或是就业资格认证,其学术质量和地位问题日益成为社区学院发展的瓶颈。然而,随着美国当代社会高科技和经济的迅速发展,对高层次、高学历人才的需求不断加大。面对这一时代挑战和机遇,美国社区学院开始了新的探索,部分院校开始在其校内通过各种方式实施学士学位课程并授予学士学位,此举在改善和提升社区学院的学术质量、自身形象和地位上初见成效,为社区学院的未来发展探索出了一条新路。本文通过对社区学院这种学位升格现象的历史脉络梳理以及相关问题和原因的整体分析,试图探寻高等教育发展过程中院校类型及层次结构的构成规律,以期对我国高等专科院校的“专升本”现象有所启示。更多还原

【Abstract】 American community college as part of its higher education is the most American characteristics. Precisely because of the existence and development of community colleges, the development of mass and popular higher education in the United States greatly was accelerated. Therefore the community college possesses an irreplaceable status in the process of development of higher education in the United States. However, due to historical reasons and their functions causing community college has been at the bottom of the American higher education system. They are only granted a transfer associate degree or vocational qualification certificate. However, with the development of the socio-economic, increasing the demand for highly-educated personnel. Such shortage of manpower had appeared in some industries. Some community colleges responded positively with this trend, in the schools have set up baccalaureate courses through various means, and awarded the bachelor degrees. This has improved and upgraded the community college’s academic quality, image and status.It explores a new path for the development of community college in the future.Based on analysis of the community colleges baccalaureate’s history,the relevant issues and the reasons, trying to explore the rules of the type and level structure of highter education and to help solve the problem on the college with 3-year schooling period upgrade to university.更多还原
