【摘要】 托妮·莫里森(1931-)是获得诺贝尔文学奖和普利策奖的最有影响力的一位代表作家。她的作品以史诗性的主题、生动的话语和细致刻画的黑人形象而著称。其中著名的作品《所罗门之歌》于1978年获得“美国国家书评奖”。该作品通过麦肯·戴德一家三代人家族的变迁,展示了近百年来黑人的历史命运。本论文以法国历史学家皮埃尔·诺拉的“记忆场域”观为理论背景,分析《所罗门之歌》中“南方”作为记忆场域所特有的功能和意义。该论文除引言和结论外,共由三章构成。第一章通过黑人对自由的追求、知识的追求和正义的追求再现了浓缩在美国南方这片土地上非裔黑人近百年的经历。第二章讲述了皮埃尔·诺拉的“记忆场域”观在莫里森的小说《所罗门之歌》中的运用。第三章探讨了南方在治愈黑人精神创伤方面的功能。通过文本分析,该论文揭示了美国南方在追忆黑人历史,构建黑人文化,并且治愈精神创伤过程中的记忆场域作用。“南方”不仅是地理概念,而且是浓缩当地历史和传统文化的载体。作为连接过去和现在的记忆场域,它帮助黑人认同和构建本民族文化。莫里森在深切关注黑人历史、命运及民族责任感的同时,指明了黑人真正的飞翔之路。更多还原

【Abstract】 Toni Morrison (1931-) is one of the most influential and representative novelists who has won Nobel Prize for literature and Pulitzer Prize. Her novels are known for their epic themes, vivid dialogue, and richly detailed black characters. Her famous novel Song of Solomon has won the National Book Critics Circle Award in 1978. The novel demonstrates the historical fate of black people in the past century through the vicissitude of three generations of Macon Dead. The thesis will analyze implication of the South in Song of Solomon based on French historian Pierre Nora’s lieux de mimoire.Apart from introduction and conclusion, the thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter one represents the black experience through their pursuing freedom, knowledge and justice. Chapter two analyzes its use of Pierre Nora’s lieux de memoire in Song of Solomon. Chapter three explores the South’s power to heal black people’s psychological trauma.The thesis discloses that the South, as lieux de memoire, has witnessed black people’s history, constructed their culture and healed their psychological trauma through detailed textual analysis. The South is not only a geographical place, but also has crystallized the local history and traditional culture. Lieux de memoire connects the past and the present and promotes the black to identify and construct their national culture. Morrison points out a way to true flight for black people, while expressing deep concern on black’s history, fate and national responsibility.更多还原
