On this basis, the armed soldiers to explore the connotation of emotional intelligence of armed soldiers is explored. and the four main factors and 12 sub-factors of this theory model Based on" emotion recognition, emotional assessments, emotional resilience and emotional expressiveness, " is built.According to the pre-constructed model of emotional intelligence, the questionnaire of emotional intelligence is developed. After two turns of filteration, with the method of t exploratory factor analysis, the questionnaire which includes three main factors, eight factors and 50 emotional intelligence questionnaire items was developed, and the 3 main factors respectively are emotional expression, emotional regulation and emotional assessment. The exploratory factor analysis showed that the a coefficient of the emotional intelligence scale of armed soldiers was 0.877, split-half reliability wasO.778; each subscale coefficient was between 0.615-0.771 and the split-half reliability was between the 0.552-0.774. Confirmatory factor analysis indicates fitting degree of each index, and the result of questionnaire are ideal; and compared with"Toronto Alexithymia Scale TAS-20" correlation coefficient is-0.378, p= 0.021, the correlation is remarkable; With high credibility and validity, this questionnaire proves to be the ideal tool for measuring emotional intelligence of armed soldiersThis above mentioned questionnaire was adopted in a in an emotional intelligence investigation which was carried outin the armed soldiers of four armed police detachment (regiment) units. The results are as follows, the scores of this emotional intelligence presented a little negative skewed distribution, and theskewness is-0.061; generally speaking, the emotional intelligence of armed soldiers was positive and presented a mixed characters of stability, the average score of the total scale was 3.77. however, in all these factors, there weremany unbalanced ones affecting the development, in the case of main factors, the descending order was:emotional regulation> emotional use> emotional perception; in the case of the sub-factors, the descending order was:Relationships> self-acceptance> Problem Solving> self-affirmation) restraint> emotion recognition> emotional performance> Coping stress, emotional intelligence of armed soldiers shows differences in position, rank, political affiliation, education level, ethnicity, the single child or non-single child, there were no significant differences between the place they came from and the duty, overall, the longer in the army, and the more deeply they got influenced by the army, the score in emotional intelligence scale would be higher.
