马尔库塞单向度理论探析

【摘要】 马尔库塞是法兰克福学派左翼主要代表人物,单向度理论揭示了当代发达工业社会的极权主义特征,是其一生思想的精华所在。《单向度的人》一书被称为西方60年代末大学造反运动的教科书。基于对社会、思想、文化机制领域的批判性分析,马尔库塞剥离出发达工业社会特有的否定性、批判性、超越性的向度,衍生了单向度的理论。单向度的社会将人塑造成“工业文明的奴隶”,批量生产出屈从社会需要而又麻木地自感幸福的“单向度的人”,政治成了没有政治反对派的单向度政治,高层文化也同现实同一起来,变成单向度文化。但其在较为深刻的揭露和探索现代资本主义社会现状的同时,却又暴露出批判理论中的乌托邦特质。论文对马尔塞的单向度理论进行探索性的解读和评析,力求从历史性影响、理论局限和现实意义等方面,为改革开放和建设社会主义和谐社会提供借鉴。更多还原
