电话交换系统中FPGA的设计与实现

【摘要】 改革开放以来,我国的通信事业取得了巨大的成绩,市话网的建设得到了迅猛的发展。其中最引人注目的就是广泛采用了程控数字交换机,为全网的数字化奠定了基础。以电路交换为基础的程控交换技术在当前的通信网中占有重要比重,它仍是当前通信的主要手段和研究内容。由于一些电话交换系统对于功能的特殊要求,如何在满足功能要求的情况下提供一个比较通用的解决方案,并且满足系统对可靠性、扩展性、容量、话务量、可操作性的要求是一个很有意义的研究课题。FPGA以其高集成度、高性能和灵活性不仅能满足交换系统中交换网络的要求,而且还能提供状态检测、电话录音、软件拨号等功能,并可方便的进行移植和功能扩展。本文根据专用电话交换系统的功能要求,分析了业界广泛使用的程控交换机设计方案。在此基础上,比较了几种主要交换网路的实现技术,选择采用FPGA来实现系统的交换功能。接着,讨论了系统各个模块的工作流程以及FPGA的模块划分和逻辑设计。FPGA不仅要实现语音时隙交换的功能,还要与接口电路模块、号码分析模块、调度控制模块进行通信。本文最后介绍了FPGA的测试方案和测试结果,对工作进行了总结,给出了FPGA在该电话交换系统中需要进一步完善和改进的方面,并阐述了程控交换技术的发展前景。FPGA在设计采用了模块化设计思路,具有较好的移植性和扩展性,对于其它系统的设计和开发具有参考和借鉴意义。

【Abstract】 Since the reform and open policy is applied in China, our country has made great achievements in the telecommunication field, the metropolitan network has developed rapidly. The most attractive thing is that the Digital Program Control Switch System is widely applied, which is the foundation of the digitalization for the whole network. The Digital Program Control Switch System, which based on the circuit switch, is still the main means of telecommunication field and plays an important role in the telecom network system.Since some telephone switch systems have special requirements, it is a very promising subject to provide a universal solution not only realize the functions , but also satisfy the demand of dependability, extending ability, and capacity. FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) could satisfy the demand of switch network because of its high integration and performance. Meanwhile, it also offers the function of state detection, voice record, software dialup, extending ability and so on.This thesis analyzes the current design of the popular switch systems in the market according to the special requirement of the system. Then it compares some main switch techniques and chooses FPGA as the implementation method of the switch function. After that, it describes the working flow of every module in the system and the inner module division of the FPGA. FPGA should not only implement the voice slot switch function, but also communicates with the interface module, caller-ID analyzing module and controlling module. At the end of the design, the test scheme and the debugging results are introduced. Then the thesis is summarized, some functions models which need consummating are presented, the prospect of the switch technology is discussed. With the module design method, the solution meets the extention and transplantation requirements and could be the reference model to other systems.
