全极化合成孔径雷达海面风场与海浪遥感研究

【摘要】 本文着重研究了全极化合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)海面风场探测仿真、海浪成像模拟、海浪信息反演等问题。全文分为六章,各章节的内容安排如下:第一章为引言,简要介绍全极化SAR在海面风场、海浪遥感中的研究背景以及本文的研究内容。第二章简要介绍全极化SAR基础理论,主要包括极化散射模型和SAR成像原理。第三章进行全极化SAR的海面风场遥感仿真,通过仿真为将在HY-3卫星上装载的全极化SAR确定海面风场探测的最佳参数,包括频率、入射角、极化方式等。第四章进行全极化SAR海浪成像模拟。首先介绍SAR成像的基本原理,然后根据随机海浪理论构造包含长涌浪的动态海面,并利用映射投影算法进行成像模拟。第五章进行全极化SAR数据反演海浪信息的研究。从目标散射矢量解析与参数化理论出发,推导出一种反演海浪信息的新方法,该方法无需使用先验信息和复杂的成像调制传递函数,而是利用海面散射的极化信息直接计算海浪坡度和波高,过程简便快捷。采用模拟数据对该方法进行验证,所得的结果与设定值基本吻合。第六章对全文内容进行总结,并提出进一步研究的建议。

【Abstract】 This thesis describes the simulation study and technique developments for the full polarimetric synthetic aperture radar(POLSAR) observations of ocean surface wind fields and ocean waves.It consists of six chapters.The contents of each chapter are arranged as follows.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which presents the background of POLSAR remote sensing of ocean surface wind fields and ocean waves,and the outline of this thesis.Chapter 2 briefly gives the basic theory of POLSAR,including the model of polarimetric scattering and principle of SAR imaging.Chapter 3 describes the simulation study of POLSAR observations of ocean surface wind fields,which helps to determine the best parameters for the SAR which will be loaded by the satellite HY-3 for its observation to ocean surface wind fields, including the radar frequency,look angle and polarization.Chapter 4 describes the simulation study of POLSAR imaging on ocean waves. We introduce the principle of SAR imaging on ocean waves at first,and then construct the dynamic ocean surface containing long swell on the basis of random ocean wave theory and use the Mapping and Projection Algorithm(MPA) to simulate POLSAR images of ocean wave.Chapter 5 describes the development of a new approach for extraction of ocean wave information including wave orientation,length and height using POLSAR data, proposed from the theory of target decomposition and parameterization,which can directly measure ocean slope and wave height without the complex modulation transfer function and is more convenient.Finally,the new approach is validated by the simulated SAR data.Chapter 6 presents the summary of this thesis and advice for future research.
