《纽约时报》的体育新闻报道研究

【摘要】 作为一份有着一百五十多年历史的报纸,各种主客观因素使《纽约时报》体育版不断成长、壮大,并跻身全美报业最佳体育新闻排行榜之列。本文从该报出版的2006年德国世界杯专刊为出发点,归纳总结该报体育新闻报道的操作方法与特点,解析该报如何在百年大报基础上,将体育新闻版亦办得有声有色。具体研究方法为,通过对样本的定量分析,研究该报的专刊设置与版面设计,并着重分析世界杯专刊的报道形式与报道基调,发现其体育报道所具有的特征。在最后的章节,本文疏理出《纽约时报》体育版的新闻导向与存在的问题,探讨该报体育报道存在的利弊,为我国综合类大报如何办好体育版提供学术上、业务上的参考意见,进而推动我国综合类报纸的蓬勃发展。更多还原

【Abstract】 As a newspaper of one hundred and fifty years history, sports section of The New York Times was consistently developed by many subjective and objective factors. It has become one of the best sports pages in American newspaper market. This dissertation attempts to summarize the operating method of sports section by its coverage of 2006 World Cup hosted in Germany, and also make analysis of its success on the basis of over one hundred years. Through quantitative analysis of the samples, this study focus on layout allocation, format design, and also put emphasis on reports’ style and tune, discovering characteristics of sports section. In the last chapter, the dissertation sorts out existing problems of The New York Times, explores pros and cons of its sports section, provides guiding significance to the newspaper of our country.
