基于便携应用DSP的图像接收与处理

【摘要】 目前便携移动媒体处理是多媒体处理的一个热点,许多厂商致力于设计制造更多功能,功耗更低,更易于开发的PMP,PDA,Smart phone和移动电视等。其实将这些移动设备的功能结合是未来发展的一个要点:人们已经习惯于生活中的各个方面,都有电子设备参与。但是这些电子设备能不能结合起来,进行无缝连接,或者是最终集成为一体,发展成为一个多功能的便携式一体化设备。这才是最符合便携媒体处理要求的电子设备,而本设计便是在这方面的努力。在媒体处理结合的思维下,本设计是在便携Blackfin 533的DSP平台上,设计实现PMP结合电视接收、格式转换以及处理摄像传入的数据等,这其实是一个媒体整合的过程。本文在开始部分首先介绍了PMP的现状和发展要点,并根据PMP的设计需要,详细分析、阐述了在PMP上应用DSP的原因。接着就便携式媒体处理方面解释了选择DSP型号和种类的根据,介绍了在本项目中选用的ADI BF533的优势。接下来文章按照功能划分,分别介绍在Blackfin 533处理芯片上视频接收、播放和图像处理的原理和实现的具体步骤,并涉及到电源管理和代码、资源的优化和外加硬盘的实现过程。视频接收、播放部分从硬件方面入手,主要分析了Blackfin上编解码器的原理应用和其外围设备对它的控制,并详细讲解了利用BF533的硬件寄存器进行编解码器操作,控制硬件设备连接的问题。而便携DSP图像处理则是从Blackfin视频处理上的专用二维DMA开始,介绍了几个利用2D-DMA进行的图像处理,首先进行原理分析和参数推导,接着分别从这几个图像处理的功能设计、硬件、软件几个方面详述了实现的过程。文章的最后依据本项目便携、低功耗和大容量的需求,描述了整个项目系统框架进行优化的过程,涉及了BF533评估板外加IDE硬盘、电源节能管理等在Blackfin DSP芯片上的实现,以及程序优化、资源管理。

【Abstract】 Nowadays portable media processing is one of the hot issues in multimedia processing. Many manufacturers have been devoting their energies into the design and produce of portable electronic device such as PMP, PDA, smart phone and portable TV, which must have more functions and be developed more easily with lower power consumption. Actually the integration of these portable devices is essential in prospective development. People have get used to the situation that electronic device is participating in every aspect of daily lives. Combination or even final integration of these portable devices with seamless joint will evolve into a portable continuum with multi-function. It is the very electronic device that satisfies the need of portable media processing. This design is concern with the above issue.In the thought of media processing incorporation, this project accomplishes the TV signal receiving, format conversion and processing of camera data in PMP based on the DSP Blackfin 533. It is actually one procedure of media integration. In the beginning, this dissertation introduces present condition and development of PMP, and explains the reason why this project makes use of DSP application according to the PMP design requirement. Then it analyses how to choose DSP type in terms of portable media character, especially focus on BF533.Following above section this article introduces detailed realization process of video receiving, play, and special effects according to their functions respectively, and refers to power management, resource optimization and link to IDE hard disk. In the way of hardware, the chapter about video receiving and display analyses decoder/encoder theorem and its peripheral device on Blackfin, then explains how to program by hardware register for the control of device.The chapter about video special effect refers to several video processing conducted by 2D-DMA of Blackfin. Firstly it carries out principle analysis and parameter derivation, and demonstrates the project realization procedure in terms of function design, hardware and software. The last chapter illustrates optimization of the whole PMP system in respect of IDE hard disk, power management and resource management according to the demands of portable, low power consumption and big capacity.
