320×256红外焦平面读出电路研究

【摘要】 红外焦平面阵列(IRFPA)成像技术是近30年才发展起来的,它由红外探测器和读出电路构成。对于成熟的红外焦平面阵列来说,主要是读出电路限制单元电路的性能,而不是探测器本身,因此高性能读出电路的设计非常关键。本课题在分析国内外红外焦平面读出电路现状的基础上,采用CSMC(华润上华)的0.5um2P3M工艺设计了一款320×256红外焦平面读出电路。该读出电路包含前置信号处理电路和数字控制逻辑,通过复杂数字控制逻辑的设计实现了多种用户可配置功能。最后,本课题通过全定制方式实现全局电路版图。本文主要内容如下:(1)第一、二章介绍了国内外红外焦平面阵列的发展现状和趋势,以及多种红外焦平面探测器的工作原理,并提出红外焦平面读出电路的总体设计方法。(2)第三章首先重点分析了光伏型红外探测器的工作原理并给出等效电路;然后根据读出电路项目的设计指标确定整体电路的设计思想和设计原理。(3)第四章根据项目指标要求,完成前置信号处理电路的设计。前置信号处理电路主要包含积分放大电路、采样保持电路和驱动电路,各个模块的设计符合设计指标。(4)第五章通过复杂控制逻辑电路的设计,实现读出电路多项用户可配置功能,包括全局复位、任意开窗读出,读出方向可选,输出端口数目可选,读出电路功耗可调等等。(5)第六章通过全定制方式实现320×256红外焦平面读出电路的版图设计,最终版图尺寸为11mm×12mm。同时介绍了应用在本课题中的一些版图设计技巧。
【Abstract】 The infrared focal plane arrays(IRFPA) technology has been developed in the past thirty years,which consists of detector arrays and CMOS read-out integrated circuit (ROIC).As to the performance of an advanced IRFPA,the detector is not the most important factor,but the ROIC.Anyway,it is important to design an excellent ROIC.Based on analysis of the present status of ROIC,a 320×256 ROIC for IRFPA is designed with CSMC 0.Sum DPTM technology.The ROIC consists of signal processing circuit and digital logic.Several user programmable functions arc actualized by the complex digital logic design.The full custom layout design method is used to complete the ROIC layout design.The main contents of this paper are as follows.(1) In the fast and second chapter,the present status and develop trend of ROIC are introduced,as well as work principles of a variety of dectors.Then,the design method of ROIC for IRPFA is presented.(2) In the third chapter,the work principle of photovoltaic photodiode is analysed and then the equivalent circuit is presented.At last,refer to the requirement of project, the design ideas and methods are confirmed.(3) In the fourth chapter,the signal processing circuit is designed according to the requirement of project.The signal processing circuit consists of integral amplifier, sample-and-hold circuit and drivers.These modules all meet the project requitment.(4) In the fifth chapter,based on the design of complex logic circuit,several user programmable functions are actualized,comprising global reset,random window readout,readout direction selectable,output mode selectable and cell gain selectable.(5) In the sixth chapter,the full custom layout design method is used to complete the layout of the ROIC.The area of the final layout is 11×12mm2.Besides,some techniques in layout design are presented,which are adopted in this project.
