中国近现代数学教科书发展史研究

A Study on the History of Mathematics Textbooks in the Modern and Contemporary China

【摘要】 数学教科书作为数学课程的主要载体,是数学教育得以落实的主要渠道。不同时期的数学教科书往往在很大程度上真实地反映了当时数学教育的发展状况。数学教科书不仅是数学教育思想观念的真实写照,而且它的质量和水平真实地反映了社会的发展状况和人的精神面貌。特别地,数学教科书改革是数学课程改革的核心工作,也是数学教育历次改革发展的焦点之一。我国编写中小学数学教科书已有一百多年的历史,积累了丰富的经验,也走过弯路,有一些失败的教训。继承优良传统,借鉴先进经验,是编好课本需要的。因此研究教科书发展史是一项重要课题。我国正在进行的基础教育课程改革开发了许多新的教科书,它们的使用情况如何,尚有哪些需改进的地方?怎样编写才是好的数学教科书?这都是我们关心的问题。本论文以理论研究为主,实证研究为辅,采用文献研究法、文本分析法,力求展现中国近现代数学教科书的发展历程,重点对近现代出版发行的数学教科书书目进行了整理,对部分有代表性的数学教科书进行了分析。全文共分五部分:一、清末时期的数学教科书。以清末数学教育制度的变迁为线索,说明同文馆时期及清末初订学制时期的数学教科书。二、民国时期的数学教科书。民国时期,数学教育制度多有变化。民国初年颁布的壬子癸丑学制、五四运动后的壬戌学制、1929年颁布的《课程标准》及抗日战争时期都采用了不同的数学教育制度。与此相应,数学教科书变化较大。通过对书目及重点使用过的教科书内容的分析,说明数学教科书内容的变化过程以及所受的外部影响。三、中国现代数学教科书。中华人民共和国成立后,中国的数学教育经历了初期学习苏联、文化大革命时期各省自编及改革开放后迅速发展等不同阶段。通过说明各个时期使用的数学教科书,展现了数学教育现代化的发展过程。四、中国近现代数学教育家与数学教科书。通过介绍傅种孙、胡敦复、吴在渊、俞子夷、钟善基等人关于数学教科书的工作,说明数学教育家对数学教科书发展所做的贡献。五、从数学教科书的发展史谈教科书改革。通过对现行北京师范大学出版社版、人民教育出版社版(简称北师大版、人教版,下同)初中数学教科书的比较分析,找出其中不足,并结合个人工作实践提出如何编好数学教科书的建议。

【Abstract】 As the main carrier of mathematics curriculum, mathematics textbooks are the main way to carry out mathematics education. The mathematics textbooks in different periods reflect to some degree the development situation of those periods. Mathematics textbooks reflect not only ideas about mathematics education but also the situation of the society development and the change of people. Especially, the reform of mathematics textbooks is the core of the reform of mathematics curriculum as well as one of the focus points of mathematics education development.Our country has spent more than one hundred years in compiling mathematics textbooks of both primary schools and high schools. It has accumulated abundant experience and has also experienced some failure. Inheriting the excellent tradition and learning from the advanced experience is necessary for compiling textbooks. Therefore, it is an important subject to study the history of the development of textbooks. Our country has developed many new textbooks now. How about them? Is there still anything to be improved? How can we compile excellent textbooks? All of these are concerned.Based on the study of theory and evidence, the paper manages to show the development history of the late modern time mathematics textbooks by literature retrieval way and text analytic method. The paper focuses on making up the mathematics textbooks published in the late modern times and analyzing some typical mathematics textbooks.The paper consists of five parts. Part One: textbooks in the late Qing Dynasty. According to the clue of the change of mathematics education system in the late Qing Dynasty, the paper shows mathematics textbooks in the period of Tongwenguan and at the beginning of the late Qing Dynasty. Part Two: mathematics textbooks in the period of the Republic of China. During the period of the Republic of China, mathematics education system changed a lot. At the same time, mathematics textbooks changed a lot, too. By analyzing bibliographies and contents in the used textbooks, the paper demonstrates the changing course of mathematics textbook contents and the effect caused by exterior factors.Part Three: textbooks in modern times. Since the People’s Republic of China was founded, Chinese mathematics education has experienced different development phases such as the learning from Soviet Union period, Culture Revolution period, reform and open period and so on. By illustrating mathematics textbooks in different periods, the paper shows the modern development course of the mathematics education.Part Four: mathematics educators and mathematics textbooks in the late modern times. By introducing the work on mathematics textbooks done by Fu Zhongsun, Hu Dunfu, Wu Zaiyuan, Yu Ziyi, Zhong Shanji and so on, the paper demonstrates the contribution in mathematics textbook development made by the mathematics educators.Part Five: discussion of textbook reform from the development history of mathematics textbooks. By comparing and analyzing high school mathematics textbooks published by Beijing Normal University Press and People’s Education Press, the author finds out the deficiency and puts forward some suggestions and thought according to the author’s own work practice.
