掺稀土KLa(WO42激光晶体生长与性能研究

【摘要】 掺镱钨酸镧钾[分子式Yb:KLa(WO42,简称Yb:KLW]晶体和钬镱双掺钨酸镧钾[分子式Ho:Yb:KLa(WO42,简称Ho:Yb:KLW]晶体是两种新型激光晶体。本文选择K2W2O7做助溶剂,采用顶部籽晶提拉法(TSSG)生长Yb:KLW晶体和Ho:Yb:KLW晶体。测试了两种晶体的红外光谱和Raman光谱,对出现的振动模式进行了归属。从XRD分析分别得到Yb:KLW晶体的晶胞参数是a =b =0.532 nm,c =1.189 nm;Ho:Yb:KLW晶体的晶胞参数为a =b =0.538 nm,c =1.193nm。通过TG-DTA分析测试得到Yb:KLW和Ho:Yb:KLW晶体的熔点分别为1119℃和1118℃,在熔点以下晶体没有相变,热稳定性很好。测试了晶体的吸收光谱和荧光光谱,计算了相应的光谱参数。结果表明:Yb:KLW晶体发射波长为1021 nm,在931 nm、981 nm附近有较强、较宽的吸收峰,Ho:Yb:KLW晶体中Yb3+在978nm处吸收峰较强,两种晶体都适合用InGaAs半导体激光器泵浦。

【Abstract】 Recently, the Ytterbium doped potassium lanthanum tungstate crystal [Yb:KLa(WO42, abbreviated Yb:KLW] and Holmium, Ytterbium co-doped potassium lanthanum tungstate crystal [Ho:Yb:KLa(WO42, abbreviated Ho:Yb:KLW] are two kinds of new solid laser materials.In this paper, Yb:KLW and Ho:Yb:KLW crystals were grown by Top Seeded Solvent Growth(TSSG) method, using K2W2O7 as flux. The infrared spectrum and Raman spectrum of these crystals were measured, the peak values were assigned. The XRD curve of these crystals were measured, the lattice parameters of Yb:KLW crystal a=b=0.532nm,c=1.189nm were obtained, and the lattice parameters of Ho:Yb:KLW were a=b=0.538nm,c=1.193nm. By analyzing on TG-DTA, the melting point of the Yb: KLW crystal and Ho:Yb: KLW crystal are 1119℃and 1118℃, separately, there is no phase transition below the melting point and the thermal stability is better. The absorption spectrum and fluorescence spectrum of crystals were tested, the corresponding spectral parameters were calculated. The results showed: The peaks of Yb:KLW crystal at 931nm, 981nm were found stronger and broader from the absorption spectrum and the emitting wavelength were at 1021nm, and the peaks of Ho:Yb:KLW crystal at 978nm were found stonger and broader from the absorption spectrum, both of them were propitious to InGaAs semiconductor laser pump.
