白炭黑增强溶聚丁苯复合材料的结构与性能研究

【摘要】 从二十世纪九十年代提出“绿色轮胎”的概念以来,目前国际上节能环保型“绿色轮胎”胎面胶料主要采用白炭黑增强溶聚丁苯橡胶(SSBR)复合材料。基于此,本论文全面系统研究了溶聚丁苯橡胶的分子量(Mn)及分布、偶联度等分子结构参数对白炭黑增强溶聚丁苯橡胶复合材料的微观结构、加工性能、动、静态力学性能及耐磨性能等的影响,以期对我国SSBR绿色轮胎胎面胶料的应用提供指导。具体研究内容如下:1.采用RPA和透射电镜(TEM)等手段研究了胶料中白炭黑的网络结构及其分散,结果表明,基体分子量等对填料的分散影响不大;测试了混炼胶中结合胶含量,并用凝胶色谱(GPC)测试了混炼胶中溶解部分(即非结合胶部分)的橡胶分子量,结果表明,随着溶聚丁苯分子量和偶联度提高,结合胶含量提高;结合胶层中的聚合物分子主要是分子量较高的部分。2.采用1H核磁共振(NMR)研究了基体和结合胶层中分子链的缠结和交联程度、分子链末端数等与SSBR分子结构参数间的关系,结果表明:分子量及分子量分布和偶联度都会影响基体和结合胶层的缠结程度和链末端数;基体分子量和偶联度的提高,结合胶层的交联点间分子量提高,但结合胶层的整体缠结和交联程度提高,分子链末端数降低。3.采用门尼黏度仪和橡胶加工分析仪(RPA)等对北京化工大学合成的全偶联溶聚丁苯Star type、同类工业产品2305和SL552的加工性能进行比较研究,结果发现:全偶联SSBR的分子量高,分子量分布窄,生胶的ML1+4100℃较高,弹性较好,应力松弛速度较慢,聚合物加工性能受到一定影响。4.对全偶联溶聚丁苯Star type、2305和SL552的动、静态力学性能等进行了比较研究,结果表明,Star type硫化胶的300%定伸/100%定伸的比值高于2305和SL552,扯断伸长率降低;Star type硫化胶的滚动阻力与2305相比降低13%;0℃下的损耗因子tanδ较高,胶料具有更高的抓着能力;Star type硫化胶的耐磨性较高,与2305相比提高28%;这些是由于偶联降低了基体和结合胶层中的分子链末端数,提高了结合胶层缠结、交联程度,填料/基体间相互作用增强的缘故。Star type的耐老化性能也优于同类参比样。因此,Star type是更理想的胎面材料,有工业推广价值。5、从加工性能、力学性能等角度评价了几种新型偶联橡胶SIBR、BIR和Sn-SSBR的结构与性能关系。结果表明,所考察的三类橡胶中,苯乙烯结构含量都会对材料力学性能产生很大影响,对动态滞后峰的位置和峰形影响大;1,2-结构含量主要影响材料的加工性能。
【Abstract】 The Green Tire conception is initiated since ninetieth decades of last century, these days, this kind of green tread with low pollution emission and energy consumption is mainly composed of solution styrene butadiene rubber (SSBR) filled with silica around the world. Depending on this, the influence of molecule mass (Mn) and distribution, coupling degree and other molecular structure parameters on processing properties, static and dynamic mechanical properties, and abrasion resistance of silica filled solution styrene butadiene rubber are studied in this thesis, guidelines to industrially producing and use of SSBR composites are expected. Detailed researches are as following:1 Rubber Process Analyzer (RPA) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) are used to analyze filler net-work structure and distribution, the result showed that, molecule mass of matrix has less influence on filler distribution; bound-rubber content is analyzed, Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) is used to analyze molecule mass of un-bounded rubber, which in case to get molecule information of bounded rubber, results showed that bound-rubber content is improved with higher molecule mass and coupling degree, bound rubber layer is mainly composed of longer polymer chains. 2. 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxation time analysis is used to get information of crosslink density, percent of free tangling chain ends in bounded rubber layer and matrix, the results showed that, percent of cross linked polymer chains and free tangling chain ends are influenced by molecular structure parameters; molecule mass between crosslink points are increased with increased molecule mass of matrix, but percent of cross linked part in bounded rubber layer is improved, percent of free tangling chain ends is reduced.3.Mooney viscosity analyzer and Rubber Processing Analyzer (RPA) are used comparing processing properties of 100% coupled SSBR (Star type), made by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and commercial products of 2305 and SL552, the results showed that, since molecule mass is improved, while molecular dispersion is reduced in 100% coupled SSBR, the ML1+4100℃value of Star type is increased in the gum, elastic modulus is also increased, and strain relaxation speed is reduced, polymer processing property is influenced to some extent.4. Mechanical and dynamic properties analysis results showed that, Star type shows higher ratio of modulus at 300% to 100%, lower elongation at break; rolling resistance of Star type is reduced by 13% compared with 2305, hysteresis parameter tan5 is increased at 0℃, so wet traction is improved; abrasion resistance is increased by 28% compared with 2305. The reason of all these improvements should be that, in SSBR Str type, percent of free tangling chain ends is reduced; crosslinked degree and filler/rubber interaction are improved by coupling structure. Aging resistance of Star type is also the best of these three samples. So SSBR Star type is better for tread use, can be popularized industrially.5. Properties of three kinds of coupled rubber were studied; results showed that reinforced rubber composites’ mechanical properties and dynamic hysteresis are influenced by monomer styrene content, polymer processing property are influenced by 1, 2- structure of butadiene affects.
