一种嵌入式家用网络监控系统及其安全性研究

【摘要】 近年来,随着计算机和网络的飞速发展,远程视频监控越来越受到人们的欢迎。网络摄像机就是其中一个典型代表。它是传统摄像机与网络视频技术相结合的新一代产品,把图像采集、视频压缩和WEB功能集中到一个体积很小的设备内,直接连入Internet,即插即用。用户在自己的PC机上使用标准的网络浏览器,即可对拥有独立IP的网络摄像机进行监控或报警等设置。目前市面上的网络摄像机多为内嵌镜头的一体化机,要想受到家庭用户的青睐,成本和安全性能是主要问题。针对目前广泛应用的网络监控设备成本高系统安全性差等缺点,本文给出了一种低成本且高安全性的家用网络监控系统的软、硬件设计,运用USB摄像头作为前端采集设备,结合嵌入式web服务器技术,用户可通过浏览器直接进行远程监控和系统设置。同时还充分考虑了嵌入式网络设备的安全性,采用了授权用户等策略,并且将嵌入式Web服务器采用安全套接层协议实现服务器和浏览器间的加密通信。除此以外,系统还具有其他一些附加功能,如可以设置嵌入式设备定时发送图像,在室内发生异常时自动发送图片等。本论文提出的家用网络监控系统方案,对系统成本、网络安全性等方面作了改进,对家庭视频监控领域有一定的实际应用价值。

【Abstract】 Recently, with the rapid development of computer and network, and the rising importance of society safety, long-distance video surveillance is becoming more and more popular. Some small scale video surveillance systems have been applied in many fields. Especially with the wide application of cheap wide band in common families, family video surveillance is booming as a new field in surveillance industry. This progress brought a new opportunity to the development of video surveillance.Among numerous video surveillance solutions, the network camera is the most successful example. The network camera is a new product which combines the functionalities of the traditional video camera with network video technique. It integrates the function of picture collection, video compression and web function into a small equipment, and works right after it connects into the Internet. What users should do is only double clicking the browser and input the individual’s IP address, and then you can do surveillance or set the system. Most of the network cameras on sale have embedded lens, and their prices are relatively high, generally from one to ten thousand yuan. The price can’t be accepted by most of the family users. So they are mostly applied in enterprises users. Moreover, the system’s safety is neglected by most of video surveillance solutions, which is more and more concerned by users.This paper comes up with a new solution of small scale family network surveillance system, which is cheap, safe and easy-handle. We use a USB-Camera as the picture collection and compression equipment instead of the integral network video camera solution which has embedded lens. The USB-Camera connects to the embedded system by USB interface. After the system was connected to the network and given the power supply, users can surveil their families or set the system. No other software is needed to be installed. The only thing you should do is input the system’s IP address in the browser, then you will be asked to input user name and password. If all of them are corrected, you can start surveilling by web or set the system, such as the function of sending the picture to Email or FTP every some minutes. Besides that, the system also has some intelligentized functions. For example, when there is some abnormity in the room, the system will send the picture to Email or FTP automatically.The work of this paper is as follows:1)First, this paper introduced the background and meaning of our research work, and analyzed the present condition of both the domestic and international video surveillance field.2)We introduced some basic aspects of embedded system in detail, including the basic conception and structure of the embedded system, the system characteristics and so on. Further more, the process of designing embedded software system was given, especially the development platform of the software system, which is a good preparation for the following work.3)The paper analyzed the requirements of the system, and then came up with the general target of the system development. Based on this, the total structure of the system was given.The USB-Camera is used as image collection equipment, which converts the analog signal into digital signal and compresses the digital image. So the embedded system no longer needs the compression function, which reduces the total cost. The main functions of the embedded system are the control of the whole system and the function distribution. We use the built-in ARM microprocessor S3C2410 in the minimum system, which has predominant performance and abundant on-chip sources, and what’s more, the price of the chip is very low. The whole system hardware is mainly made up of S3C2410, SDRAM, NAND Flash and the Ethernet controller.4)This paper showed the software design of the family network surveillance solution and related technique, including the choosing and tailoring of embedded operation system, the development of boot program, the making of root file system and the development of software in application layer.The development of the software in the application layer is the most important part in the whole software development of the system. The software in the application layer can be subdivided into tree modules: the image collection and transmission module, the embedded web server module and the image display module. The image collection and transmission module obtained the image from the USB-Camera, and transmits the signal to user’s browser,or to the Email or FTP address and those functions can be setted by the web. In this module we mainly use Video4Linux programming technique to capture the image and the network Socket programming under Linux technique to transmit the information. The main function of the embedded web server module is to provide the web for users. Users can monitor the room or set the system function by logging in using the web. The technique under this module includes the simple realization of HTTP protocol on server, CGI programming and the using of embedded database. The image display module is carried out as java applet and embedded into web. It is transmitted to the browser by web server when users open the browser, and receives the continuous pictures from the embedded system.5)Aimed at the more and more urgent problem of network security, this paper analyzed the security of this family network surveillance solution, and put forward some suggestions and methods. It mainly uses SSL protocol to improve the embedded web server, which makes the communication between the browser and the web server can be transferred safely in the network, and ensures the security of user’s information.The family network surveillance solution which this paper comes up with, has some improvement in system cost, network security etc. So it has some application value in family video monitoring realm.
