基于Web Services机制的智能光网络控制研究

【摘要】 随着因特网的需求的增加,特别是过去几年里IPTV、视频会议等高速率大容量数据传输需求越来越成为因特网新业务的主要增长点,而这些需求给网络带宽的有效分配和运维管理提出了一系列亟待解决的问题。为了有效解决上述问题,具备灵活带宽调配能力和有效管理能力的智能光网络被认为是新一代网络体系的核心。然而,随着智能光网络的发展,特别是大规模光网络的铺设,光网络分布化、区域化的特点更加突出,原有的简单网络模型不再适用于实际的分布式管理,这给光网络资源管理增加了难度;再加上并不存在标准化的域间通信协议,这使得不同域光网络之间的通信问题更加显著。为了解决这些问题,本文参考了计算机网络的Web Services模型,提出了一种基于Web Services机制的光网络控制方法。这种方法的主要特点是,通过增加上层通信通道的办法解决底层异域网络的通信问题,并且能在这层中增加中央控制器来解决多域光网络的资源管理问题。作为这种思想的一种实现,本文利用了网格模型以及相关软件来进行了一系列的实现。本文主要内容如下:首先本文讨论了智能光网络的体系架构以及相关技术,并指出在光网络中进行域划分的必要性。同时,本文还讨论了域间通信和光网络资源管理问题的研究现状,指出现有的研究基本上偏重于两个方面:单域组播和跨域单播,而对于跨域组播的问题没有很好的解决办法。然后介绍了Web Services模型的特点以及在计算机网络上的实现机制。这部分特别说明了Web Services作为一个被严格定义的模型具有标准化的描述形式。接下来研究了将Web Services模型用于控制光网络的具体方法,指出通过Web Services技术可以通过光网络的UNI(用户使用接口)来控制底层网络的运行。本文特别介绍了BUNIA组件,这个组件方便了将Web Services模型用于光网络的管理。本文特别指出了单域组播的能力,并且利用BUNIA设备进行了单域单播和单域组播实验。最后讨论了利用Web Services模型进行域间组播的方法。本文扩展了已有的域模型,添加了新的元素并指出了当前基于Web Services的多域管理的研究现状,在此基础上本文提出了自己的跨域组播模型,并且研究了在此基础上研究了跨域算法。本文进行了一个现场实验来验证Web Services机制控制ASON跨域组播的可行性。

【Abstract】 With the rapid growing of internet services in the recent decades, the requirements in high speed and huge volume of data transfer such as IPTV, video meeting, became the newly increasing points of internet business. However, these new requirements give out a serial of problems in effectively managing the network. In older to solve these problems, the ASON (Auto-Switch Optical Network), which has advantage in assigning bandwidth and effectively managing optical network, is wildly used and considered as the core of next generation network.Nevertheless, with the development of ASON and the enlarged scale of optical network, the distribute and localized characters of optical network make the existed simple network model be no longer suitable for the real distribute management and for there is no standards about the inter-domain network communication, the problem of inter-domain communication becomes more complex. In order to solve these problems, we creatively use Web Services model of computer network in optical network and carry out a solution basis on Web Services mechanism. This solution adds a new upper layer to solve the lower layer communication problem, and design a center controller to solve the multi-domain resource management problem. Also, we use grid model and software to demonstrate the solution. The main contents of this thesis is arranged as follows:Firstly, we discuss the architecture and related technologies of ASON, and point out the necessary of domain division in optical network. Then we discuss the current research work on inter-domain communication and optical resource management, and conclude that they are focus on single domain multicasting or multi-domain unicasting but no solution on inter-domain multicasting.Then, we introduce the Web Services model and mechanism on computer network. This part concentrates on the relationship between Web Services and SOA, and indicates that the Web Services model is developed from SOA but is descried and defined more strictly than SOA.Next, we demonstrate the way to apply Web Services model in optical network. And we discussed the mechanism using UNI (User Network Interface) to control the primary layer of optical network. Also, we discuss the details of BUNIA component, which helps us use Web Services model in optical network.And then we discuss the method of using Web Services in inter-domain multicasting. We extend the existing domain model, add new items and give a short analyze about the current research work on multi-domain management, basis on which we carry out our own inter-domain multicast model.
