半导体光放大器自动测试系统

【摘要】 随着通信技术的不断发展,光通信行业遇到了前所未有的发展机遇。在光器件需求不断扩大,产业规模逐步扩张的大环境下,国内厂商需要尽快解决元器件的大批量生产中遇到的相关问题。其中一个重要的问题就是元器件产品的指标测试,传统的测试方法是针对元器件的每个指标,集成所需要的仪器,然后连接好仪器,搭建好光路,手工测试该指标,在需要测试下一指标时,往往需要重新连接仪器,重新搭建光路,费时且精度较差。本文工作是863项目“高性能半导体光放大器规模化生产技术”的重要内容,研制了一套半导体光放大器自动测试系统,该系统利用GPIB(General Purpose Interface Bus)接口进行通信,实现计算机对各种测试仪器的实时控制,完成对半导体光放大器组件各项指标的自动测试,并由计算机自动处理数据。本文详细分析了GPIB接口的通信原理和控制过程,详细阐述了测试系统的硬件构成和软件构成,并将测试结果与人工测试结果做出对比,具有较高的一致性。该系统界面简单友好,只需填写一些基本参数并选择测试项目即可测量,非专业人士也可熟练使用。由于一次性连接好仪器和光路后就不需要人工干预,最大程度的减少了人为误差,同时节约了人力消耗。该系统的通用型和扩展性强,通过加载不同的仪器库,可以测试各种光器件,极具推广价值和实用价值。

【Abstract】 With the rapid development of telecommunication, the optical-communication now has good development opportunity than it ever before. Under the situation keeping growing of the need of the optical device and the optical-communication industry, our optical device producer must resolve the problem that will be found during volume-produce. The most important one is that the testing of the optical device. The traditional way is based on device’s single performance, the tester must connect the instruments and the optical path, and than test the performance manually. If it is necessary to test the device’s other performance, the tester must connect different instruments and optical path. So, this method will take a lot of time and has low precision.The content of this dissertation is based on the“863”project“the technology of mass production of high performance semi-conductor amplifier”. This dissertation introduces an auto-test system of SOA(semiconductor optical amplifier). This system is based on GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus). The computer controls the test instruments at real time to achieve the test to the SOA automatically, the computer can help the tester to deal with the data of the test and analyze the result, and save the test report as electronic files expediently.This dissertation expatiates the principle of the GPIB and the controlling processes. At the same time, this dissertation expatiates the hardware and the software composing, make a contrast between the system’s test result and the manual test result.This system has friendly graphic user interface, the tester only need to fill some test parameter. Because there is no interference after the connection of the instruments and the optical path, it reduces the test error, and saves the tester’s time. This system has good ability to be extended. By loading different instruments library, it can test a lot of kinds of optical devices.
