ZigBee无线传感器网络的研究与应用

【摘要】 ZigBee协议是一种新兴的短距离、低复杂度、低功耗、低速率、低成本的无线网络技术,目前正逐步走向成熟并逐渐成为了无线传感器网络的首选网络协议。2004年12月ZigBee联盟发布了第一版协议,该协议在IEEE 802.15.4标准定义的物理层和媒体接入控制层的基础上,定义了网络层、应用层和网络安全机制,主要面向工业、家庭和医学等方面的无线通信应用。在这些应用中,网内移动节点的定位监控是一个主要方面。因此,ZigBee网络对移动节点的支持情况是一个研究关键。利用NS2仿真软件,分别对ZigBee网络移动节点的接入和切换机制进行研究,并根据分析结果提出了ZigBee网络硬切换机制和软切换机制,以提高现有ZigBee协议对移动节点的支持性能。在深入了解ZigBee网络对移动节点的支持情况后,结合赫立讯公司的IP-Link模块,给出了面向定位监控的ZigBee网络设计方案,确定了网内四种设备的组成、功能和软硬件设计,并以某办公楼三层的五个房间为场景,进行了网络的整体调试实验。结果表明,这一方案是有效实用的,能为ZigBee网络的定位监控应用提供一个基本的网络模型和解决方案。

【Abstract】 ZigBee is a rising wireless network technology featuring short distance, lowcomplexity, low power consumption, low data rate, low cost. Nowadays, it has beenthe optimal network protocol utilized in Wireless Sensor Networks.In Dec. 2004, ZigBee Alliance released the 1st edition specification. It specifiedNetwork Layer, Application Layer and Security Service on the basis of PhysicalLayer and Medium Access Control Sublayer which were specified by IEEE 802.15.4standard. It is mainly used in the field of industry, family and medical science whereneed wireless communication. In these applications, position monitoring of mobilenodes is the main aspect. Therefore, the support of ZigBee network for mobile nodesis a key research. The join and handoff mechanism of ZigBee network mobile nodesare researched by using NS2 and the hard handoff and soft handoff mechanism areproposed according to simulation results to improve the support capability of ZigBeefor mobile nodes.The design of ZigBee network orienting position monitoring are proposed byutilizing IP-Link module of Helicomm, which defines structures, functions andsoftware and hardware designs of four network devices--fixed nodes, mobile nodes,mobile monitoring nodes and network control nodes. Testing experiments are carriedout in five rooms. The results indicate that the design of ZigBee networks orientingposition monitoring is effective and it could be a basic network model and provide thesolution for position monitoring of ZigBee network.
