【摘要】 清末民初女子学校教育的兴起和发展在中国女子教育史上起着承前启后的重要作用。它促使先进女子主体意识的觉醒，形成女性知识分子群体，女子教育对于促进人类社会生存和发展具有重要的现实意义。本文主要阐述了清末民初国人自办女子学校之时，湖南作为一个典型的内陆省份，其女子教育兴起的原因及其产生、发展概况，进而分析了湖南女学的特点以及女学发展对当时湖南社会所产生的影响。将其作为个案研究，试图再现近代中国女子学校教育的概貌。本文截取了清末民初这一社会激烈动荡的历史时期，以湖南女子学校教育的个案为研究对象，来考察女子教育的区域发展。全文共分为四个章节：第一章介绍清末民初湖南女子学校教育的兴起，将其分为两个时间段来考察，即晚清时期湖南女学的创兴和民国初年湖南女学的发展，并分析了其兴起的原因。第二章着眼于清末民初湖南女子学校教育制度的考察，分析了它的教育宗旨、行政组织及管理、授课的内容及形式。第三章分析了清末民初湖南女子学校教育的特点。归纳了湖南女子学校教育起步晚，但发展极快；女子留学教育独步一时；办学门类较为齐全等三个特点。第四章总结了湖南近代女学发展所产生的作用。分析了近代女学发展对女性解放、传统伦理习俗的改造和女性参与社会生活等方面带来的积极影响。更多还原

【Abstract】 Being on the rise and development of women’s school educationeffect educating history to be mounting up importance serving as a linkbetween past and future in Chinese women. It urges the arousal that theadvanced women main body is aware of, form the knowledge womengroup, women’s school education has important practical and immediatesignificance to boosting human society existing and developing.When fellow countrymen certainly punishes women’s school, Hu Nanis a representative inland province, The thesis mainly Analysised whosewomen education’s cause being on the rise and their creation, develops ageneral situation, the characteristic of Hu Nan women’s schooleducation ,then learn to develop to effect produced by Hu Nan societythat time. Look on it as case study, try to reproduce the general picturethat Chinese women’s school education at the modern times.
