苯乙烯聚合包覆片状铝粉的研究

【摘要】 本文对苯乙烯聚合包覆片状铝粉颜料进行了较系统的研究。在系统考察单体用量、引发剂用量、反应时间、反应温度、加料方式等操作参数的基础上,采用缓蚀效率、光泽度、白度、包覆率、包覆效率、以及聚合反应的转化率、聚合度,对包覆效果进行了评价,并通过红外光谱仪、差热扫描仪、EDX能谱仪、扫描电镜、透射电镜等手段,对包覆后的复合粒子进行了表征。研究结果表明,当单体用量为50%,AIBN引发剂用量为10%并采用滴加方式,反应温度为70℃,反应时间为3h的最佳条件下,包覆后的铝粉的缓蚀效率为60.80%、刮板光泽度为77.63、喷板光泽度为71.90、刮板白度为9.13、喷板白度为3.18、包覆率为3.28%、包覆效率为8.64%,苯乙烯聚合的转化率为67.06%,包覆的聚苯乙烯的分子量约为16500,聚合度为158,未包覆的聚苯乙烯的分子量为14900,聚合度为143。在此基础上,还考察了丙烯酸(AA)、马来酸(MA)、硅烷偶联剂(MPS)等功能添加剂对苯乙烯聚合包覆铝粉的作用。研究结果表明,三种功能添加剂都能在一定程度上改善苯乙烯聚合包覆铝粉的效果,AA、Ma、MPS的添加,能够使包覆铝粉的缓蚀效率从原来的60.80%,分别提高到78.35%、96.05%、85.72%。论文的最后还对包覆铝粉的形成机理进行了初步探讨。

【Abstract】 This paper mainly focused on the flaky aluminum pigment coated by polystyrene film using polymerization. The amount of monomer and initiator, the reaction time, the reaction temperature, the material-feed way and other factors were considered to affect the coating quality. The corrosion inhibition efficiency, the gloss, the brightness, the percentage of coating(PC%) and the coating efficiency(CE%) of composite particles, and the conversion of monomer(C%) and degree of polymerization of polymerization reactions were carried out to evaluate the effects.. The composite particles were analyzed and characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), TG-DTA, EDX, SEM and TEM. The results show that the feasible reaction condition is as follows: the weight ratio of monomer and initiator is 50%andl0% respectively, time is 3h, temperature is 70℃and the material-feed way is dropping initiator AIBN to the reactor. The corrosion inhibition efficiency of the composite particles is 60.80%, scraper and jetting gloss are 77.63 and 71.90, scraper and jetting brightness are 9.13 and 3.18, while PC% is 3.28% and CE% is 8.64% respectively. Besides, the C% of polystyrene is 67.06%, molecular weight is 16500 and degree of polymerization is 158.The crylic acid(AA), cis-butenedioic acid(MA) and silicane coupling agents(MPS) considered as functionality materials were also studied in the paper. According to the results, all of the three can improve the corrosion inhibition efficiency of the polystyrene coated flaky aluminum pigment from 60.80% to 78.35%、96.05%、85.72% seperately.Finally, the formation mechanism of the coating was studied preliminarily.
