水性丙烯酸树脂的合成及其改性的研究

【摘要】 水性丙烯酸树脂具有较好的光泽度、耐候性、耐化学品性和稳定性高,且无污染、无毒性、无刺激性和生产安全、价格便宜等优点,是一种低VOC的绿色环保型产品,也是目前较为活跃的研究和开发领域。但常规丙烯酸酯树脂存在如成膜温度高、胶膜硬度低、抗回粘性差、耐水性不好、附着力差等缺点。因此,合成能克服以上缺陷的新型树脂己成为当前的研究热点。本研究先用溶液聚合的方法初步探讨合成了水溶性的丙烯酸酯树脂,然后用硬度高、附着力好、抗水性好及耐化学药品优良的环氧丙烯酸酯(EA)对其进行改性,有效的改善了水性丙烯酸酯树脂的缺点,提高了丙烯酸酯树脂的综合性能。在环氧丙烯酸酯共聚改性水性丙烯酸树脂的实验中,讨论了不同合成加料方式、不同温度、不同引发剂用量及不同环氧丙烯酸酯用量等因素对共聚合成及其性能的影响。研究结果表明:采用分步加料法、反应温度为82℃、搅拌速度为150r/min~200r/min、反应4h时可以顺利合成EA改性的水性丙烯酸树脂,单体转化率达96%以上;当EA用量为8%、交联单体NMA用量为2%时改姓树脂的性能最佳,硬度达2H,抗回粘性1级、附着力Gt0(玻璃)、耐水96h。除此之外,从粒子设计方面着手,采用乳液聚合的方法合成了具有不同“核壳”结构的乳液,大大改善了水性丙烯酯乳液的性能。讨论了不同“核壳”结构的设计工艺、乳化剂等因素对乳液聚合的影响。研究结果表明:采用“软核硬壳”的工艺设计、乳化剂用量为3%(阴离子型/非离子型=1:2)、NMA为2%时合成的乳液性能最佳,热固化后硬度可达2H、抗回粘性1级、附着力Gt0(玻璃)、耐水性96h,是一种性能优良的热固型树脂。

【Abstract】 Waterborne Acrylate resin has some advantages, such as good glossiness, weather-resistant, chemical resistance, stabilization, non-contamination, nontoxicity, non-skin irritation, low price and safety of production, and become an green environ-mental product of low VOC. So it will be an attractive research and application areas. But it also has some disadvantages, such as high film forming temperature, low hardness, poor anti-after tack, poor water-resistant, low adhesion, etc. So the high performance acrylate polymer resin which can overcome those disadvantages will become research hotspot at present.In this paper, the water-souble Acrylate resin could be prepared by solution polymerization with Acrylate monomers, and make preliminary discussion on synthesis techniques. And then, in order to improve the disadvantages and enhance synthetic properties of copolymer, Epoxy acrylate resin which has high hardness, adhesion, good water-resistant could be used for modifying it.On the experiment of EA modification, many factors such as different feed ways, reaction temperature, Initiator, EA content, etc, on the polymerization and property of product were discussed. The results show that the copolymer of EA modify acrylate resin could be favorably prepared and the conversion rate of monomers is greater than 96%,when the multistep feeding is used, the reaction temperature is 82°C,the stirring rate is 150r/min~200r/min and the reaction time is 4h.Meanwhile,when the content of EA is 8% and NMA is 2%,the properities of copolymer is optimal, the hardness of film is 2H, the anti-after tack is level 1,the adhesion strength is level 2 and the water-resistant is 96h.Besides, from the structure design consideration the "core-shell" structure emulsion could be prepared by emulsion polymerization and it can greatly the performances of acrylate emulsion. Meanwhile many factors such the designs of different "core-shell" structures, the emulsifiers, etc, were discussed. The results show that the high performance heat-curing Acrylate emulsion could be favorably attained and the hardness of film is 2H, the anti-after tack is level 1, the adhesion strength is level 2 and the water-resistant is 96h, when the design of soft core-hard shell structure was used, the percentage of emulsifiers are 3%(ratio of anionic/non-emulsifiers are 1/2) and NMA is 2%.
