【摘要】 儒释道思想是中国传统文化的三大精神支柱。儒家以经世致用为特色，佛家、道家以超脱、自然为特色。在孔孟、老庄、佛教思想熏陶下形成的士，总是在出仕和退隐中实现着对社会的参与和超越，故凡深入士人灵魂的人物描写，都难免涉及儒释道三家的思想。《儒林外史》反映了儒释道互补的思想潮流，塑造了一些兼具儒士、名士特色的理想人物。《儒林外史》以对待功名富贵和文行出处的态度为中心，在小说深层建构起一个儒释道互补的结构框架，只有从对儒释道的辩证把握中，才能切中肯綮，深入探测作品的思想和艺术真谛。过去的研究，对儒家思想注意得多，对释道尤其是佛教思想的蕴含发掘得少。本文试图从整体内蕴中辩证地加以把握，侧重于探寻隐含在《儒林外史》中的佛教内蕴，从而进一步审视这部彰显中华民族精神文化的伟大作品。更多还原

【Abstract】 The Confucianism and Buddhism and the Taoism thought is the China traditional culture three big spiritual props. The Confucianism take governs of very practical use as the characteristic, the Buddhist, Taoism take unique, naturally as a characteristic. Under Confucianism, Lao-Zhuang, the Buddhism thought gradually influence the gentleman who forms, always in becomes an official and retires is realizing to society’s participation and surmounting, therefore every thorough gentleman person soul character description, all unavoidably involves the Confucianism and Buddhism and the Taoism three thought."The Scholars" had reflected the Confucianism and Buddhism and the Taoism supplementary thought tidal current, has portrayed some concurrently Confucian scholars, the famous litterateur characteristic ideal character.
