美国人对南京大屠杀历史的见证、传播与研究

【摘要】 侵华日军南京大屠杀期间，有39位外籍人士留在或曾进出过南京，其中有21位美国籍人士。这些美国人士和其他外籍人士一起亲历、见证和传播了侵华日军在南京制造的各种血腥暴行，并留下了大量有关南京大屠杀历史的日记、书信、报道、纪录片等真实记录，为南京大屠杀史在美国乃至西方世界的传播，曾经起到相当重要的作用。二战结束后，南京大屠杀案成为在美国主导下的远东国际军事法庭审判的判例，该法庭和中国审判日本战犯南京军事法庭对南京大屠杀案进行了定性定论。但是，随着冷战思潮在西方世界的兴起与影响，美国人对南京大屠杀历史的研究与传播逐渐淡出，甚至是遗忘。冷战结束后，在一批美籍华人和本土美国人的积极努力下，美国人对南京大屠杀历史的记忆被重新唤起，一批以研究南京大屠杀历史为主题的学术专著、影视片和专家学者、学术、民间团体机构在美国涌现，这为南京大屠杀历史在西方的传播和研究起到了非常重要的作用。正确认识美国人士对南京大屠杀历史的见证、传播与研究的价值并积极利用，对于把南京大屠杀历史的研究与传播推向深入，仍具有十分重要的作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 During the Nanking Massacre, there are 39 foreign persons who stayed or arrived in and left off Nanking, 21 Americans among them. These persons and other foreign persons together experienced, witnessed and spreaded the Nanking Massacre, which Japanese aggressor troops made varies violent behaviors in Nanking, and meantime reserved large accounts of real records about diaries, letters, movies of the Nanking Massacre. It was once very important for spreading the history of the Nanking Massacre in America. After the World War 2, the cause of the Nanking Massacre become a example of judgment of the America-dominated international court, this court and the Nanking military court that China adjudge Japanese war criminal determine the nature of the cause and verdict it. However, with the trend of cold war’s thought rise and influence, the spreading and research the history of the Nanking Massacre wear off gradually from American memory, even was forgot by American. With the end of cold war, in making great efforts of a crowd of American, American reminded of the history of the Nanking Massacre, and lots of academic writings, films and telefilms, and experts, scholars, folk organizations were springing up like mushrooms, which is important for contributing to the research of and spread of the history of the Nanking Massacre in the west. In order to deepening the research of and spreading of the history of the Nanking Massacre, it is important to correctly recognize and utilize it.更多还原
