多路视频混合IP的设计及评测

【摘要】 多路视频混合IP可以应用于显示系统中,它能够增强显示系统的功能,提高显示性能,并且使混合操作更加简易。该IP可以实现对四路或少于四路的视频图像进行透明叠加和色控叠加,计算机可以通过PCI总线向该IP发出不同的控制命令,从而得到不同效果的视频混合图像输出。通过对多路视频混合IP质量评测,可以得到结论:此IP的性能指标达到了预期的要求,并且设计质量、验证质量和可交付项质量较高。本论文阐述了多路视频混合IP的设计及其评测过程。先从系统架构出发,主要讨论了此IP的功能结构和全局因素;接着阐述了此IP中三大主要组成模块:视频混合模块、跨时钟域数据接口模块和SDRAM控制模块,并分析讨论了设计这些模块过程中的关键技术和重要策略,这是本论文的主体和重点;最后讨论IP评测的相关理论和方法,并以多路视频混合IP为例给出评测结果。本论文提出了基于EDA工具评测IP软核的具体方法,这是对IP核评测技术的丰富和发展。另外,本论文归纳并讨论了跨时钟域传递数据的各种方法以及时钟等全局因素的设计技巧,分析讨论时尽可能地兼顾普遍性,这对电路设计,尤其是数字集成电路设计具有一定的参考价值和借鉴意义。

【Abstract】 Multi-path-video blending IP can be applied in the video system, which will become more powerful and easier to use, and performs better. Under the control of the computer, four or less than four paths of video signals can be blended together by the IP, and the interface between the IP and the computer is PCI local bus. We can get different video-output of the IP by controlling the computer, such as alpha blending, mask and so on. The qualification of the IP is wonderful by assessing the qualification of design, verification and tape out.The thesis focuses on the design and assessment of multi-path-video blending IP. First of all, introduces the main function and specification of the IP, and several important factors. Then, introduces the modules of video blending, SDRAM controller and asynchronous data interface in detail, which is the main part of the thesis. Lastly, introduces assessment-methodology of IP qualification, and show the result about the qualification of multi-path-video blending IP.The method of assessment soft IP is brought forward on the thesis, which is the evolution of the methodology of IP assessment. By the way, the skills and methods of designing data-interface-circuit between different clock fields and several global factors of IC designing are summed up on the thesis. The ideas and methods of designing the IP is popular, so these can become references of other designing of circuits, especially the designing of digital integrated circuits.
