基于脑机接口的嵌入式技术研究

【摘要】 脑-机接口(Brain-Computer Interface )是在人脑和计算机或其他电子设备之间建立的一种直接的信息交流和控制,是一种不依赖于常规大脑输出通路(外周神经和肌肉组织)的全新的信息交流系统. BCI作为一种全新的信息交换和控制技术,将能为瘫痪病人,特别是那些丧失了基本肢体运动功能但思维正常患者,提供一种与外界进行信息交流和控制的新途径。在通常试验条件下, BCI系统由专门的PC系统来完成各种操作。由于PC机体积庞大使得BCI的实际应用受到阻碍因此,现代嵌入式系统的发展使BCI处理控制系统的微型化,实用化成为了可能。嵌入式系统产业近年来持续迅猛发展,正广泛应用于移动计算设备,网络设备、工控设备、信息家电、汽车电子、娱乐设施、仪器仪表等领域。如何合理选择软硬件平台,设计一个良好的嵌入式应用系统是当今的一个难点。在此背景下,我们将嵌入式系统与嵌入式Linux技术相结合,基于Samsung公司的S3C44BOX处理器和uClinux操作系统,建立起了系统的软硬件平台。本论文首先介绍了基于脑电信号的BCI系统和嵌入式的发展现状,并且阐述了嵌入式技术应用于BCI的可行性,以及发展前景。第二章介绍了嵌入式系统及嵌入式操作系统,并提出了实现方案。第三章深入分析了GNU-uClinux操作系统,包括uClinux操作系统的主要系统特性。第四章介绍了Linux设备驱动程序的编写,并具体论述了LCD驱动的设计。第五章介绍了脑电信号数据A/D转换及驱动的设计。第六章给出了总结和展望。

【Abstract】 Brain Computer Interface (BCI) is a direct information communication and control channel established between human and computer or other electronics devices and it is a wholly new communication system that does not depend on the brain’s normal output pathways of peripheral nerves and muscles .As a wholly new information communication and control technology, EEG(electroencephalo-graph))-based BCI may provide the paralyzed, especially those "locked-in" but with intact ideation, with an effective communication and control channels with outside world.Under ordinary experimental conditions, BCI system performs through a specially PC System. For the bulkiness of the PC system, the practical application of BCI was blocked .the development of embedded system makes it possible for the micromation and practicality of BCI system.Embedded system industry is continuously developing swiftly and violently in these years, which has been widely applied to many fields, such as mobile computing device , network device, industrial device, information appliances, automobile electronic , amusement establishment, apparatus and instruments, etc. choosing the reasonable hardware and software platform and design a rational embedded application system is the nodus in nowadays. Under this background, we combine the embedded system with embedded Linux technology, and establish the software and hardware platform with the S3C44BOX of Samsung and uClinux operate system.This thesis first introduced the actuality and foreground of the BCI system and embedded technology, then expatiate the feasibility of the application of embedded technology in BCI system. The second chart introduces the embedded system and embedded operate system, and bring forward the realization project. The third chart lucubrate the GNU-uClinux operate system, include the primary system characteristics. The fourth chart introduced the Linux device drive, and concretely expatiate the LCD driver. The fifth chart introduced the EEG A/D conversion and the driver. The sixth chart lays out the summarization and expectation.
