【摘要】 城市研究已经成为当今世界的热点问题。城市的发展与趋势是国家和全球经济、社会、政治与文化发展的中心议题。中国的城市发展需要考虑长期以来的中国历史延续性、世界城市发展的历史与经验,并考虑当今时代的独特性。我们在参与项目的过程中发现国内学者的研究多是参考海外华人学者的研究,对海外华人学者的研究多与提及,但是国外学者的中国现代城市研究却较少被关注。鉴于语言与时间问题,本文针对的是英语世界对1949-2006年新中国成立以来的城市相关成果的研究。本文通过大量英语世界学者的文献分析与阐释,探寻英语世界中国现代城市研究的热点与时序,找到英语世界中国现代城市研究的逻辑演进历程,挖掘中国城市发展实际与英语世界中国现代城市研究之间的关系。全文共分五章。第一章为绪论,主要阐述本文立题的原因,概述当前时期中国与世界城市发展的理论与实践,并对资料的搜集整理作简要说明。第二章主要是从数据统计上把握英语世界中国现代城市研究的基本轮廓在英语世界中国现代城市研究的期刊、专著与分类进行基础分析之后,判断了英语世界中国现代城市研究的两个特点、热点问题的变迁以及研究的历史发展阶段,这一章主要是基于英语世界中国现代城市研究的研究成果分析。第三章在第二章的资料统计基础上得出的英语世界中国现代城市研究的四大主题后,在这一章对城市化、城乡问题、城市发展与政府以及转型研究四大主题进行了较为详细的阐释,基于英语世界中国现代城市研究的学术思想和代表性观点及主要研究视角。第四章,对海外华人学者与国内学者的中国现代城市研究略加总结后对英语世界、海外华人与国内三者的中国现代城市研究进行了一些比较。第五章是本文的最后一章。在这一章,对本文主要研究成果进行总结,并指出今后尚需深入探讨和研究的部分以及本文的不足之处。更多还原

【Abstract】 The development and trends of cities has been being the major issue of evolution of economy, society, politics and culture both in countries and around the world. Chinese history inheritance, global history and experience in urban development and specialty of nowadays have to be taken into account when the Chinese urban development is referred.While participating in some programs, the writer found that the references of researches written by scholars in China’s mainland are mostly fruits of oversea Chinese, and only few of foreigners. Considering language, time and energetic, the object of this paper is Chinese urban studies during 1949 and 2006 in the English world. On the basis of analysis and synthesis about abundant available material of foreign scholars, the writer here is intent to discover hot topics during the period, trace the logical evolution of Chinese modern urban studies, and exploitate the relationship between the reality of Chinese modern urban development and its studies in the English world. The main contents are as follows:The chapter one is an introduction, including the reason of this topic, summarizes on the practice and theory of urban development, and outlines on the process of material collection and collation.The writer will portray the schema of studies on Chinese modern cities in the English world through material statistics. After analysis of periodicals or magazines, books and main subjects of such research, the writer include two characteristics, hot topics and stages of development about studies on Chinese modern cities in the English world. All contents in this chapter are based on analysis of research results.Four major topics which are urbanization, urban-rural relationship, urban development and government and transformation studies concluded in the last chapter will be discussed in detail in the third chapter. All contents in this chapter are based on academic thoughts, representive views and major perspectives corresponding to last chapter.In the forth chapter, the writer will discuss studies on Chinese modern cities of Chinese scholars in and abroad in a simpler way, and make some comparatives.The end of this paper is a brief summary about all contents of this paper, and in which some points of deficiency and fields for further study are also listed.更多还原
