鲜花参数化建模与动画设计系统开发

【摘要】 鲜花虚拟建模和仿真技术被广泛应用于计算机动画、游戏以及可视化等领域。针对已有造型软件,如Maya,3DMAX等,在鲜花造型和动画设计方面的缺陷,论文提出鲜花构件化参数建模和动画这一研究课题。不同于已有造型方法,课题研究成果使用户通过重用已有鲜花素材库快速完成鲜花造型。在造型编辑方面,不是采用交互式自由变形技术,而是采用参数化编辑。用户只需进行简单的参数变化就可以完成鲜花形态设计,并生成所需的鲜花动画。论文主要展开如下几方面的研究: 1)鲜花素材库建设。论文提出鲜花素材重用的思想,构建鲜花素材库。本文所构建的系统致力于构建好用易用的鲜花素材库,所以需要考虑把网络中已有的鲜花模型导入素材库,而已有鲜花模型的格式各异。为此本文有必要开发通用接口,基于模型的几何特征挖掘有用的信息。为此目的,本文对网格分割和特征骨架提取方面也做了大量研究。 2)构件化鲜花参数造型。在上述鲜花素材库基础上,论文提出鲜花构件化造型。研究利用鲜花的拓扑结构对将将鲜花的不同部位进行组合,得到鲜花造型结果。组件式造型方式使用户直接从素材库中直接提取现有素材进行鲜花建模,不但可以生成不同结构和形态的虚拟鲜花,更突出的特点是用户不需重绘所有鲜花局部部位,大大节省了用户编辑时间,提高设计效率。此外,研究解决了虚拟插花艺术中出现的鲜花和穿透花瓶显示的错觉效果。 3)鲜花动画生成。鲜花生长动画设计结合真实鲜花的开花原理,研究花卉形态结构,运用参数化设计思想,对鲜花的不同部位添加各自的动画控制属性,再运用关键帧动画技术,设置关键帧的动画属性参数,得到动画效果。并且在设计过程中,对鲜花的结构特征进行分析,区分花瓣所在的不同位置,通过对不同位置的花瓣设置不同的参数值,获得逼真的开花动画效果,生成具有真实感和实时性的动画。为了使鲜花动画更具真实性,课题研究利用基于物理的运动控制模型形成风吹动画效果,建立植物弹性关节模型,通过外力的驱动,使鲜花产生摇曳效果。课题研究成果已经作为插件集成到软件系统MAYA中,通过对已有鲜花素材的重用和参数设置,用户可以快速完成鲜花造型和动画设计。
【Abstract】 Virtual modeling and simulation technology has been widely used in many fields such as computer animation, games and visual. The existing modeling software, such as Maya,3DMAX, has its own flaws in modeling and animation design, This paper presented a new method that is parametric modeling and animation with flowers component. This paper enables users to reuse the existed flower pieces to create a new one. Instead of using interactive free deformation technology, our new system uses the parameter editing. Users only need to change a few simple parameter to control the new flower’s shape, and generate the needed animation. This paper launched following several aspects.1) Constructing flower library. This paper reuses flower materials to constructing flower lib. The existed flowers are spited to pieces according to their structural characteristics and extracted their shape attributes. The materials is sorted, according to the overall topology of flowers, and organized by hierarchical structure for user-friendly.2) Parametric modeling of flower components. A new flower is modeled by combined different parts into assembly, using flower’s topological structure. Component modeling approach enables users directly from the material directly from the existing modeling material for flowers, Not only can generate different structure and morphology of virtual flowers, more prominent feature of all users without flowers refresh local site, saving the user edit time, improve design efficiency.3) Flowers animation. This paper constitutes different animation parameters on different parts of the flowers, according to real flowers bloom principle and flower morphology, and then sets up key-frame animation parameters values to obtain animation using key-frame animation technique. For more authenticity, the research based on the physical movement control model formed blown animation, Plant flexibility joint model, driven by external forces, so that flowers produce flickereffect.Research results have already been integrated as a plug-in of the software MAYA, have flowers on the material reuse and parameter setting, users can complete the flowers modeling and animation design quickly by parametricmodeling and animation, by reusing the existed flowers.
