基于新课程标准的上海市生物教师科学素养的调查与对策研究

【摘要】 上海市中学生命科学课程改革的基本理念是关注全体学生的终身发展,提高生命科学素养。而生物教师作为新课程的实施者,科学知识的传播者,科学兴趣的启蒙者,科学方法的引导者,科学精神的弘扬者,其科学素养水平将直接影响到学生科学素养的培养。那么,新的课程改革中,广大生物教师的“科学素养”现况如何?针对现状可采取哪些对策?这正是本课题所要探讨和期望解决的问题。为此开展对生物教师的科学素养现况的调查和对策研究。 本文主要采用问卷调查法并结合访谈法,以上海松江、徐汇、浦东地区的136位中学生物教师为调查对象,并结合十多位教师的访谈以及192名高中学生的调查信息,了解一线教师的科学素养现况。调查问卷中关于科学素养的内容主要参考了国际上公认的的米勒的观点,从基本的科学观点、基本科学方法、科学和社会之间的关系等三个方面进行评判。调查还关注一线教师对课程改革的支持程度,实施难度,改进意见等,在此基础上,进行教师科学素养的对策研究。本研究采用SPSS软件处理数据。 通过研究,得出如下结论:(一)上海市中学生物教师的科学素养水平尚好,但有明显不足,1.生物教师对基本科学观点和基本科学方法掌握程度较好;2.教师对自我科学素养的评价尚好;3.中学生物教师对于教材的依赖性较大 4.生物教师对于科学方法及科学与社会的关系的认识还较肤浅。(二)上海市各区生物教师的科学素养没有显著差异。(三)对提高教师科学素养提出如下对策:1.加强终身学习的理念;2.提高教师科学素养,加强课堂教学;3.加强教师之间的交流;4.提供更多的培训机会和公开展示课机会;5.建立多元评价模式。论文还对完善教师的科学世界观、师生互动提高科学素养、科学素养和人文素养的渗透、提高生物教师的地位等问题进行了一定的思考和讨论。

【Abstract】 The basic idea of the reform in the Life Science Curriculum Standards in Middle Schools of Shanghai is the overall development of the students as a whole and help cultivate the students’ science literacy. The middle school biology teachers are the practitioners of the new curriculum standards, the disseminators of the science knowledge, the torchbearers of the students’ scientific interests, the introductors of the scientific methods and the advocators of the scientific spirit. The level of their science literacy plays a vital role in the cultivation of the students’ science literacy. In view of this, we have investigated and researched the teachers’ science literacy and relevant problems.Doing investigations and making interviews, we talked with 136 middle school biology teachers in Songjiang、 Xuhui and Pudong Districts, as well as 192 middle school students. We use Mr. Miller’s three methods of science literacy dimensionality: I basic scientific knowledge; II basic scientific methods; IIIthe relationship between science and society. The questionnaire is based on those Miller’s methods. We pay attention to the teacher’s conditions in the new curriculum reform, and get to know the difficulties and their opinions for the new curriculum. And then, we could draw some lessons and see how to make a better solution. This study uses the SPSS software to deal with the data collected.By our investigations, we have got some conclusions as follows: I the biology teachers in Shanghai has a fairly good mastery of the basic scientific knowledge, but there exists some insufficiencies: 1) they know well of the basic scientific ideas and methods;2)they have a fairly good evaluation of themselves;3) they rely on the textbooks too much;4) they don’t know much about the scientific methods and the relationship between science and society. II there are no obvious differences among teachers in different districts. III the countermeasure for improving the teachers’ science literacy: 1) emphasize on a lifetime study;2) improve the teachers’ science literacy and strengthen the teaching in the classromms;3) increase the communications between the teachers;4) offer more training opportunities and open classes;5) establish the mode of multi-level evaluation of the teachers. The paper also reflects on some problems, such as how to improve the science value of the teachers, how to enhance the interaction between teachers and students, how to mix the science literacy and humanity literacy and how to elevate the status of the biology teachers.
