气辅挤出UHMW-PE板材的研究

【摘要】 超高分子量聚乙烯是一种性能非常优异的新型工程塑料,并且用途十分广泛。但由于UHMWPE的加工流动性能极差,无法顺利实现挤出或注射,因而影响了该材料的普遍广泛的使用。本文一方面就超高分子量聚乙烯流动性差的特点,专门研究了PE、PP和POM对UHMWPE流动性能的改善,并最终确定了流动改性剂配方;另一方面,在对不同填料对于UHMWPE共混体系力学性能、摩擦磨损性能和流动性能的影响进行研究之后,最终确定了填料的组成。在确定了超高分子量聚乙烯共混体系的最终配方后,根据UHMWPE流动性能差的特点,引入气辅挤出成型机理,并自行设计了气辅挤出超高分子量聚乙烯板材模具,实现了表面光滑、平整板材的挤出。 由上述实验可以得到以下结论: (1)流动性越好的PE对UHMWPE流动性改进越大,且所加入比例越高,共混物MFR值也越高。研究表明,当HDPE组分小于50%时,HDPE对UHMWPE磨损性能影响较小,其中5000S对于体系的力学性能有一定的提高。 (2)中低分子量聚乙烯来改善UHMWPE的加工流动性是可行的,但是同时会不同程度的导致力学性能的下降。 (3)PP对UHMWPE的流动性有一定的提高,但对于力学性能的提高并无任何作用,且大大降低了UHMWPE的耐磨损性能。 (4)POE组分对于流动性能有一定的改进,但是对于力学性能的提高并没有明显的作用,然而对耐磨损性能影响却相当明显。用POE来改进UHMWPE的加工流动性时,POE的加入量需在10%以下,否则会对整个体系的性能产生极大的

【Abstract】 The ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is widely used in applications due to its outstanding properties. But the applications of UHMWPE are influenced, because they can not be injected or injected for the poor capability of flowing. In this paper, on the one hand, the flowing of UHMWPE are improved by filling PE、 PP or POM. On the other hand, the mechanical property, wearing quality and fluidity of the composites were studied by filling different stuffing. When the last scheme was confirmed, according to the theory of gas assisted extrusion, we designed the gas assisted extrusion mould. And the extrusion of UHMW-PE was accomplished. Due to the experiments, we can get these conclusions.(1) the fluidity of PE is better, the fluidity amelioration of UHMWPE will be better. And we can see that the modification of wearing quality is not clearly, when the filling of HDPE don’t achieved 50%. And, we can see the 5000S is good to the improvement of mechanical property.(2) Middle or low molecular weight polyethylene can improve the composites fluidity, but will lead the degradation of mechanical property.(3) PP can ameliorate the system fluidity, but is of no effect to the mechanical property, and lead to the degradation of wearing quality.(4) POE can improve the composites fluidity, but is invalidation for the mechanical property, and degrade the wearing quality.
