【摘要】 在经济全球化、信息化、知识化、市场化的今天，作为经济活动的主体——企业的形态也正在发生着变化：超级大企业不断涌现和中小企业数量剧增正在成为一种趋势。虽然大企业是国民经济的支柱，是衡量一个国家经济实力和国际竞争力的重要标志，但中小企业同样也是国民经济的重要组成部分——数量众多的中小企业在扩大就业、促进技术创新以及创造国民财富上发挥着难以替代的作用。无论是对于我国改革开放以来经济的高速发展，还是对于“十一五”规划顺利实施，中小企业发挥了和正在发挥至关重要的作用。然而，由于自身实力、发展的稳定性和抗风险能力等方面的缺陷，中小企业的死亡率同样很高。中小企业的成长问题已经成为一个世界性的问题。 企业，从本质上讲，是一个系统组织，是人力资源和其他各种资源的有机结合体，而企业的成长则是其对各种内部资源进行有效组合利用的活动的结果。相对而言，中小企业的外部环境只是其成长的一个平台。因此，应该将中小企业成长问题研究的重点放在企业的内部，这同时也是本文的立足点和归结点。 本文首先通过理论研究，将中小成长能力定义为“在外部客观环境的制约下，按照一定的方式，以自我完善提高为目的的一系列内部资源利用活动的效率表现”并界定了其内涵；其次，通过企业成长阶段理论引出了成长上限的概念，根据成长上限的具体内容将成长能力分解为“管理能力、学习能力、创新能力、生产能力、市场能力和财务能力”；最后，根据中小企业成长能力体系的构成结合中小企业的特点建立了中小企业成长能力评价体系并通过实证分析进行了验证。 本文的研究是建立在众多前人研究的基础之上的，从他们的研究中吸取和借鉴了大量的成果。但同时，本文也有一些独到的见解和创新之处，概括起来，更多还原

【Abstract】 In the economic globalization, informational, knowledgeable and marketable ages, as the corpus of economic activities, the shape of enterprises are also keeping changed. The super enterprise flows out continuously and the increase in quantity of the SME is becoming a kind of trend. Although the super enterprise is the pillar of national economy and an important mark that is used to measure the economic power and international competition abilities of a country, the SME is also the important part of national economy. Numerous SME has a ’can not be substituted’ function on enlarging employment, promoting technical innovation and creating national wealth. SME has been functioning vitally to the soar of economy in China after reform and is functioning to the successful realization of the new "Five-Years-Plan". However, because of the deficiencies of real self-strength, stability and the anti- risk ability, the death rate of the SME is very high. The growth problem of SME has already become a world problem.Essentially, the enterprise is a system organization, which is an organic integration of human resource and other various resources, but the growth of enterprise is the result of activities of efficiently utilizing the various internal resources.
