CDMA2000协议测试平台研究

【摘要】 随着计算机网络和通信技术的飞速发展,特别网络融合的趋势,协议的设计和实现越来越复杂。厂商必须以更低的成本,更短的时间,开发新的稳定的协议,满足网络发展的需求。为了提高协议实现的正确性,保证协议实现符合协议规范的要求,必须借助协议测试技术。协议可分为一致性测试、互操作性测试以及性能测试等。而协议测试集自动生成理论则极大的简化了协议测试的工作,缩短了协议的开发时间。本文在对目前协议测试理论及协议测试集自动生成理论充分研究的基础上,提出了协议自动化测试框架。该框架将协议测试理论转化为实践,建议采用形式化语言描述协议及协议系统的行为,并通过测试集自动生成理论自动生成基于TTCN-3描述的协议测试集。测试框架可以自动运行测试集并验证测试结果,统计测试数据。同时本文针对3G网络的特点,提出针对CDMA2000网络性能测试(比如Call Load性能测试)的测试集生成。采用单项基本性能测试和模拟真实网络测试相结合的方法,对3G网络节点进行性能测试。
【Abstract】 With the rapid development of telecommunication and Ethernet, especially the trend of network convergence, the design and implementation of protocol are becoming more and more complex. It is necessary for protocol vendors to push new protocol onto market with lower cost, shorter time, and better quality. We have to rely on protocol testing theory to improve the quality of new protocol, and ensure it meets the requirements of specification exactly. Generally, protocol testing can be divided into three types: conformance testing, interoperability testing and performance testing. And the theory of test suites auto-generation simplifies the protocol testing, and decreases time-to-market.This paper, based on the foundation of fully research about protocol testing theory and test suites auto-generation theory, raises a new framework for protocol testing automation. It adopts formal language to describe protocol and system’s behaviors, and auto-generates test suites that written by TTCN-3 through test suites auto-generation theory. The framework can run automatically to verify the test results and generate test reports.Meanwhile, the paper also provides a new method for performance testing of CDMA2000 network (such as call load performance test), based on the special requirements of 3G networks. It combines the single mission performance test with the virtual network– the software simulation of real network– performance test, to evaluate the performance of devices deployed in 3G networks.
