【摘要】 教会慈善事业是中国基督教史研究中一个非常重要但却又鲜有人问津的领域。本文以民国时期福州基督教的慈善事业为考察对象，综合运用历史学、社会学、文化传播学等方法，对民国时期基督教在榕慈善事业从其面临的社会生态环境、基督教在榕传教简史、教会各项慈善事工、组织机构、资金来源、教会慈善事业与布道事业、教会慈善事业与福州乡土社会、教会慈善事业与民国福州社会救济事业的现代性转变等方面进行了系统论述和考辨。笔者试图通过对基督教在近代中国一个特定区域特定时间内的慈善活动来考察其在华的慈善事业及其慈善理念抑或说是其慈善观，并通过对其评价来说明教会慈善事业对民国福州社会保障事业的现代性转变的推动作用，以求能为我国现代社会社会保障事业的发展提供借鉴。更多还原

【Abstract】 The protestant philanthropy, which used to be ignored, is an important part in the history of China Christian study. This article focuses on the protestant philanthropy in Fuzhou during the Minguo Period(1912-1949). Based on the historical 、 sociological and cultural disseminatonal methods, the article makes a comprehensive study on the protestant philanthropy from its social and environmental background.the brief history of protestant in Fuzhou.its content,organization,resources, the relationship between the protestant philanthropy and the preaching, the states of the protestant philanthropy in the Fuzhou society and its status in the history of the Chinese social security system. Through this study.the author wants to provide a survey on the philanthropy ideology of the protestant and the function of the protestant philanthropy in the course of modernizing of the Chinese social security system.更多还原
