理查德·罗蒂新实用主义文学理论思想初探

【摘要】 理查德·罗蒂是当今美国最有影响也是最具争议的思想家之一。罗蒂从分析哲学起家，后来却成为西方传统哲学和分析哲学的批判者，极力批判西方哲学自柏拉图以来的追寻真理即偏重研究主客观实在及其意义的认识论传统，将美国传统实用主义与欧陆后现代主义理论结合作一起，以积极的姿态来弘扬多元主义(反对任何本质追求)、整体论(反对任何二元区分)、历史主义(反对任何元历史标准)的新实用主义思想。并且身体力行地脱离专业化的学院哲学领域，投入到文化评论、文学理论、政治理论、社会道德等更具影响力的领域。 目前对罗蒂的研究一般多关注于他的哲学和社会学思想，而较少探究罗蒂转向公共知识分子后关于文学理论方面的思想。本文作者不揣浅陋，试图较为清晰地梳理出罗蒂的文艺学思想。本文试图从情境之真、多元叙述的罗蒂新实用主义真理观着眼来阐明罗蒂思想的两大基点：反本质的多元主义与历史的民族中心主义；进而分析罗蒂新实用主义真理观对文学理论的观照及多元主义视角和民族中心主义立场在罗蒂文学理论思想中的体现；最后将罗蒂文学理论思想置入当下理论环境中给予综合评价。 本文由三部分组成。第一部分介绍罗蒂的新实用主义真理观思想；第二部分具体分析罗蒂在文艺理论领域的批评和观念，以求得到系统的认识；第三部分是对罗蒂文学理论思想的评价。其中本文重点在第二部分，拟从以下五个方面对罗蒂新实用主义文学理论思想进行勾勒：一是文学在罗蒂思想中的地位问题，先在罗蒂思想中给予文学一个明确的定位——多元中的一元；二是文学的性质问题，展现了罗蒂的强烈的历史主义观念和多元主义立场——不应执着于一种特定观点；三是文学的价值问题，分别从文学对人们的激励作用和促进个人自律、人类团结两方面进行论述；四是文学交流(阐释)问题，以罗蒂新实用主义观点来解读文学交流、阐释问题；五是文学批评问题，分析罗蒂所谓理想的充满激励、反讽的文学批评的过程和标准，并着重论述文学批评的道德政治功能。更多还原

【Abstract】 Richard Rorty is one of the most influential but the most embarrassed ideologist in the American nowadays. Rorty depended the analysis philosophy to become famous. Afterwards, he became the reviewer of the western and traditional philosophy and analysis philosophy. Rorty made every effort to criticize the epistemological tradition of the west philosophy from Plato, that making track for the truth and over-emphasizes to study the subjective and objective and their meaning. Rorty made American traditional pragmatism combines with the post-modernism theories of the European Continent together, he expanded the neo-pragmatism thought that claim to the polycentrism( oppose any essence to pursue), claim to the whole theory( oppose any two dollar distinction), claim to the historicism( oppose any history standard) with the aggressive carriage. And, he took the lead to escape from the profession’s college philosophy realm, throwing in the culture comment, literature theories, political theories, social morals etc which even has more influence.Currently, our research on Rorty pays more attention to his philosophy and sociologies thought, but seldom investigate the thought of his literature thought after he changed into the public knowledge member. In this paper, 1 try to comb the literature thought of Rorty clearly, I try to fix attention on the neo-pragmatism truth view which claim that the environment is really true, the description is diverse, and I will to clarify two greatest points of Rorty’s thought: the polycentrism of anti- essence, and the race center doctrine of history. Afterwards, we analyze the shining of Rorty’s neo-pragmatism truth view on literature theories and the reflection in Rorty’s literature theories thought of diverse doctrine of view and the race center doctrine positions. At last, we put Rorty’s literature theories thought in the theories environment of nowadays to give comprehensive evaluation.This paper is constituted by three parts.
