云南师范大学呈贡校区天文台选址研究

【摘要】 天文台选址是一项长期而艰苦的科学研究工作。天文台选址是开展天文学研究的一项基础性工作。天文台台址的优良与否将会直接影响到天文观测的质量。天文台台址必须精心选择,否则价格昂贵的大望远镜不能充分发挥其功效,只能起到小望远镜的作用。要选出一个优良的天文台台址,需要投入大量的工作。 本文首先对天文台选址的目的和意义作了简要的介绍,然后介绍了天文台选址的方法,并就天文台选址工作中各个阶段所需要测量的参数作了详细说明。本文重点介绍了天文台选址中定点观测阶段需要测量的各个参数的物理意义及其测量方法,这些参数包括视宁度、气象参数、大气消光、水汽含量和夜天光亮度。以上几个参数是评价天文台台址优良与否的重要指标。 本文结合云南师范大学呈贡新校区天文台选址工作的开展情况,报告了云师大呈贡校区天文台选址的部分选址结果,其内容包括选址点的地理位置、周围环境、气候和气象条件、大气视宁度和大气消光。并重点介绍了用照像拖影测量大气视宁度的观测方法和测量计算方案,给出了观测点大气视宁度的测量结果。 最后,结合天文台选址的结果,本文对云师大呈贡校区天文台选址的下一步工作计划、将来天文台的建设以及望远镜的选择等方面的内容提出了几点意见和看法。
【Abstract】 The astronomical site selection is a long-term and laborious scientific research. The survey to it is a foundational work for carrying on the astronomical research. The conditions of observation to the astronomical site would affect directly the quality of the astronomical observation. So, the astronomical site must be selected carefully, otherwise the large telescope of cost can’t display its function fully, but can play the role of the small telescope. Much work must be done for the selection of a good astronomical site.The purpose and significance of the astronomical site selection are presented in this thesis, in which the method of the astronomical site is introduced. The parameters that must be measured in every stage of the site survey are illuminated particularly. The physical meanings and measurement of the necessary parameters measured in the certain-spot observing stage for the astronomical site selection are also introduced, and this parameter involves seeing, meteorological parameter, extinction coefficient, water vapor, night sky brightness, all of which are important criterion in evaluating astronomical site.Based on the developing works of the astrononmical site selection in the Chenggong campus of Yunnan Normal University, this thesis illuminates the partial observed results in the Chenggong astronomical site, which include geographical site, surroundings, climate, meteorology, seeing and extinction. The method of observation and the scheme of test in the use of photographic star trails to test seeing are described in this thesis, and the observed results are also listed.In conclusion, according to our results of the testing site, some advice on the site testing scheme, observatory construction and the choice of telescope are presented for the astronomical site selection in the Chenggong campus of Yunnan Normal University.
