【摘要】 在20世纪中国文学史上,通俗文学一直受到文学精英的蔑视和批判,被看作不登大雅之堂的俗物,被排斥于文学研究和文学史大门之外。但与此同时,通俗文学却拥有着极广泛的读者群,其在大众读者中的熟悉度、影响力有时候是严肃文学无法企及的。一方面是大众读者的热衷喜爱,另一方面是研究者的鄙夷冷漠,这种奇特的文学景观背后隐藏的原因是什么?本文试图运用接受美学的方法,有重点地从大众读者和精英读者两个角度,对20世纪中国通俗文学的接受与批评状况作了一些对比和梳理,试图揭示隐藏在这一奇特文学景观背后的深层原因;并试图通过揭示通俗文学在20世纪中国文学史上的真实身份,考察20世纪文学中代表通俗文学立场的大众意识与代表严肃文学立场的精英意识之间对立、共存、互补的复杂关系,并由此推断中国通俗文学甚至整个中国文学在大众意识和精英意识的双重影响下的发展趋势与走向。20世纪中国通俗文学曾经在大众意识与精英意识的对立以及后者对前者的压制中走向边缘,也该在两者的共存、互补中复归文坛和文学史。通俗文学甚至整个中国文学都需要在精英意识的指引下,在大众意识的参与中走向未来。更多还原

【Abstract】 In the history of Chinese literature in 20th Century, popular literature has been disdained and criticized by the elite, and has been regarded as a unpresentable vulgarian, so that it was excluded from the door of literature study and history. But at the same time, it has a very broad readership, and it has such a great effect upon public readers that even the serious literature cannot compared with. On the one hand, it is enjoyed by public readers very much, on the other hand, it is looked down on by researchers. What is the reason of this strange literary phenomenon? This paper tries to make some research on the acceptance and criticism of Chinese popular literature in 20th century selectively in the perspectives of both public readers and elite readers by acceptive esthetics in order to obtain the reason. And this paper tries to reveal the true status of popular literature in the history of Chinese literature in 20th Century; and to inspect the complicated relationship between the masses awareness of popular literature and the elite consciousness of serious literature; and then to infer the trend and development of Chinese popular literature and even the total Chinese literature.Chinese popular literature has been on the edge of the literary world in 20th century because of the opposition between the masses awareness and elite consciousness, and now also should return back to the literary world and history as a result of their coexistence and complementarity between each other.
