【摘要】 WiMAX技术是目前受到广泛关注的宽带无线接入技术，用以替代传统的有线连接方式，解决“最后一英里”接入问题。本论文研究的课题来源于实验室与企业的合作项目“基于802.16的WiMAX宽带无线接入系统设计与开发”，该项目的研发目标是根据IEEE 802.16标准进行WiMAX基站硬件平台设计和软件系统研发，实现WiMAX基站系统，为用户提供高速稳定的宽带无线接入服务：本人在项目中的工作重点是WiMAX协议软件和部分操作系统底层驱动的开发。 本文结合项目的总体需求和开发过程，对WiMAX技术和WiMAX基站整体架构设计进行了论述，并针对本人的工作重点及相关系统测试进行了详细介绍。各章的主要内容说明如下： 第一章对WiMAX和IEEE 802.16标准进行了概述，包括802.16系列标准发展历程和WiMAX技术特点及系统应用方案。 第二章介绍了WiMAX基站系统的整体设计，分为硬件平台设计、嵌入式系统设计和协议软件设计，并分别论述了各个部分的设计思路和要求。 第三章详细说明了WiMAX基站底层软件的设计和开发，包括相关嵌入式操作系统操作介绍，以及基于该操作系统的网络设备驱动和存储芯片驱动的具体开发过程。 第四章详细阐述了WiMAX基站协议软件的设计和开发，包括协议模块定义与划分、MAC层核心功能分析和关键技术实现、网络层主要协议说明和基于WiMAX系统结构的处理机制。 第五章重点讨论了系统集成方案和测试结果，给出部分测试的相关数据，并对测试数据反映出的问题进行了简要分析。更多还原

【Abstract】 WiMAX technology is one of the most popular BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) technologies, which is expected to solve the last-mile problem instead of classical wired connections. The topic of this thesis is based on the project cooperated between our lab and an industrial company, named the "Design and Implementation of 802.16 based WiMAX systems". The final aim of this project is to implement WiMAX Base Stations (BS) with the ability of providing high-speed wireless access service to subscribers. My work focus in the project is on the protocol software and part of device drivers.In this thesis, an overall analysis of WiMAX technology and WiMAX BS architecture design is given first, and following is the main part of the thesis, detailed description of my work, based on the requirement, design and implementation of the whole project. The contents are provided as follows:Chapter 1 gives brief introduction of WiMAX and IEEE 802.16, such as key features and application scenarios of WiMAX and the development of 802.16 Stds.Chapter 2 analyzes the high-level design of WiMAX BS, which can be divided into hardware design, embedded system design and protocol software design. Requirements and design disciplines of each part are also discussed.Chapter 3 presents detailed description of device drivers development in WiMAX BS, including introduction of related embedded system as well as how to implement drivers for network device and storage device based on the system.更多还原
