基于UML的软件度量工具的实现研究

【摘要】 UML模型是软件开发早期产生的一种中间产品,它虽然在不是软件的最终产品,但是它的质量高低极大的影响后续阶段产品的品质,如实现代码。为此UML模型的质量度量研究一直是当前国内外研究的热点之一。软件度量技术是一种有效控制软件质量的定量化分析技术,通过对UML模型进行度量可以控制模型的质量进而能有效改善软件质量并节约开发成本。但在实际应用中,进行度量数据采集的软件度量工具大部分都是基于源代码的,而针对UML模型的软件度量工具则很少,并且这些基于UML的软件度量工具中很多是使用特定建模工具的脚本语言开发的,限制了工具的应用。为了解决存在的问题,本文采用XMI元数据交换技术设计和实现了一个基于UML的软件度量工具。本文首先对UML模型度量的研究进行了系统的归纳和整理,并结合UML模型质量度量的特点对传统的软件质量模型和质量度量模型进行了改进,给出了适用于UML模型的质量度量模型;接着对UML模型的信息交换技术进行了研究,着重阐述UML元模型的相关理论和XMI元数据交换规范并分析了两者的对应关系;然后结合XMI技术和UML模型度量的相关研究成果,设计和实现了一个可自定义度量的基于UML的软件度量工具EMUMT;最后,通过一个图书馆管理系统的案例,介绍了该度量工具在软件开发实践中的应用方法和实际效果。
【Abstract】 UML models are semifinished software product of the early phase. Although they are not finished software product, yet their quality has a great influence on the following products, such as source code. So research on UML models quality metrics is always a hotspot in the world. Software metrics is effective quantitative analysis technique to control software quality. UML models metrics can improve software quality and save development cost. However, in practice most of software metric tools are based on source code, and less are base on UML models. And some UML-based software metric tools are based on the specifical modeling tool’s scripting language. In order to resolve current problems, the dissertation adopts XML-based metadata interchange (XMI) technique to design and implement a UML-based software metric tool.Firstly, the dissertation systematically generalizes the research on UML models quality metrics and improves traditional quality model and quality metrics model considering UML models metrics’characteristics. Secondly, the dissertation investigates information interchange on UML models, depicts UML meta-model theory and XMI. Thirdly, a UML-based software metric tool, capable of customizing the metrics, is implemented based on the knowledge of XMI and UML models metrics. Lastly, through a case of a library management system, this metric tool is demonstrated how to be applied in practice.
