基于WCDMA网络的移动定位技术研究

【摘要】 随着移动通信技术的发展,人们希望能随时随地获取所需信息和进行通信,因此作为特殊的移动增值业务的移动定位业务受到了人们越来越广泛的关注。宽带码分多址(WCDMA,全称Wideband Code Division Multiple Access)是第三代移动通信系统的主要标准之一。在WCDMA网络中,将提供多种与移动台位置有关的服务和应用,如公共安全服务、车辆和交通管理、导航和城市观光等。移动定位技术已成为WCDMA网络的核心技术之一,对各种定位方法和技术在WCDMA网络中的实施和应用已经成为目前研究的热点。本文首先介绍了移动定位技术的基本原理和目前主要的定位技术,并对这些定位技术进行了比较,同时就影响移动定位精度的若干因素进行了详尽的讨论;针对目前采用最多的到达时间差(TDOA,全称Time Difference of Arrival)定位技术,给出了TDOA双曲线方程组的数学模型,详细地分析了各种主要基于TDOA技术的定位算法的优缺点;然后对WCDMA网络中的基本定位技术、定位实施方法、网络结构、信令协议、操作流程和多精度定位流程实施方法进行了分析和探讨。在上述研究的基础上,本文给出了位置业务(LCS,全称Location Service)系统的总体设计方案,其中包括定位系统的总体结构设计、接口设计和定位系统的功能、特点的介绍;阐述了定位系统中的核心组成部分-网关移动定位中心(GMLC,全称Gateway Mobile Location Center)的软件体系结构;详细介绍了移动交换中心(MSC,全称Mobile Switching Centre)中定位模块的设计和定位流程的实现过程;最后讨论了有关定位系统的测试问题,并指出了系统的不足之处和改进意见,以及需要进一步研究和探讨的问题。

【Abstract】 Along with the rapid development of the mobile communication technology, people wish to obtain the information and do the correspondence anywhere at any time. So the mobile location service as the special mobile value service is came in for a more and more extensive concern by people.WCDMA is one of the main standards in the third generation mobile communication system. In the WCDMA network, a variety of services and applications with the mobile station will be provided to us, such as the public safety service, vehicles and the traffic management, navigating, the city sightseeing etc, all of them must ascertain the accurate position of the moving station. Therefore, mobile location technique has become the core technology in WCDMA network.The basic principle of the moving location technique and the leading location methods are introduced firstly, and comparing their respective advantages and disadvantages in accuracy, cost etc, and the factors affecting the accuracy of the methods are discussed as well; Secondly, aimed at the TDOA location technique, the mathematical model of TDOA hyperbolic equations is established, advantages and disadvantages of several TDOA location algorithms are analyzed in detail; Then, the basic mobile location technique,location method implementation, network architecture, signaling protocol and interface, location procedures and multiple accuracy location procedure of WCDMA mobile location are analyzed and discussed in this thesis.Based on the above-mentioned research, the architecture designing project of the LCS system is provided in this thesis, including the whole structure designing and the interface designing; The function and characteristics of the LCS system are also introduced; Then this thesis presented the software structure of GMLC which is the core component of LCS system as well; the LCS module in the MSC is introduced detaily, as the designing and the procedure of LCS module. Finally, discussed the test problem of the LCS system and pointed out the shortage and improvement suggestion.
