【摘要】 文化素质教育自二十世纪九十年代提出以来,已经成为高等教育界讨论的热点话题之一。经历了十年风雨,文化素质教育在理论和实践两方面都取得了可喜的成绩,但也出现了一些新情况和新问题,其中的关键在于人们对文化素质教育根本价值认识上的偏颇。这亟需要文化素质教育理论研究上的突破,从更深层次把握文化素质教育对大学的意义。从文化素质教育与大学逻辑的联系角度审视中国的文化素质教育,寻找其在中国存在的合理性根源,正是本文写作的意义所在。 本文从中国大学存在的现实弊端以及21世纪全世界大学所面临的挑战出发,阐释了中国大学进行的世纪反思:大学是什么?大学里什么知识最有价值?大学要培养什么样的人?大学反思的结果是大学要进行改革。总结大学改革的主旨我们发现,任何时候大学改革都不能脱离自身的逻辑盲目地适应社会,大学改革的实质就是在大学逻辑和适应社会间保持适当的张力。大学逻辑是大学之为大学的根据,反映了大学特有的本质和规律。任何时候大学都是围绕着追求真理和培养高级人才这两个任务发展自身的,大学的逻辑就是大学在历史进程中形成的体现大学本质属性和内在发展规律的传统,主要是大学的学术传统和人文传统。考察英、德、美等经典大学形成和发展的历史可以看出,这些大学之所以能够闻名于世,都无一例外地坚守了大学的这两大传统。追溯中国大学形成和发展的历史,事实证明:大学发展较好的时期都很好地继承了大学的宗旨,相反,大学出现问题的时候往往是因为背离了大学的逻辑。 当代,由于科学的霸权和人文的式微,大学改革更多地应坚守其本色,文化素质教育正是要保持大学逻辑、回归大学本身的大学改革,它要坚守的正是大学之为大学的内在逻辑。文化素质教育因其反映了大学的全面本质、传授完整的知识、培养完人的核心价值,因而能够促使大学逻辑回归。同时,由于文化素质教育的时代性,它又能在大学逻辑与社会现实间取得平衡。更多还原

【Abstract】 The cultural quality education has become one of the hot topics in the higher education field since it was put forward in 1990s. It has achieved good results in theory and practice, but there are also some new problems. Among these problems, the most important is people’s recognition of basic values of cultural quality education It also needs badly the breakthrough in theory in order to master the meaning of university cultural quality education? So it is the meaning of this paper to examine Chinese cultural quality education from the relation of cultural quality education with university logic, and to find the proper origins of existence in China.Starting with challenges world university meet and real abuses of Chinese university, this paper explains the rethink of Chinese university. What’s university? What does it teach? What’s kind of person does it train? The result of rethink is that university must reform. We can find that the reformation of university can’t adjust to society blindly without its own logic. The essence of university reformation is to keep proper tension between university logic and adjustment to society. University logic is the traditions of particular nature and laws of university, which are mainly humanity tradition and school tradition. University develops itself by involving around pursuing truth and training talents. Researching on the formation and development history of famous universities in foreign countries, we can find that they all stick to the two traditions. Looking back on Chinese university, we can find that they inherited the aims of university in well development periods, while they were away from the university logic when they had problems.In modern times, university revolution should stick to its nature because of strong science and weak humanity. Cultural quality education should remain and stick to university logic. Because cultural qualityeducation reflects the whole nature, teaches whole knowledge, trains center value of perfect man, it can stimulate the back of university logic.
