多维分析技术在教务管理系统中的应用与研究

【摘要】 随着信息技术的不断发展与高等教育规模的快速增长,各高校都相继建立了自己的教务管理信息系统,这些信息系统的使用,很大程度上提高了教务管理的水平,而且积累了大量的教学运行数据。但是目前这些信息系统不能提供对所采集数据进行归类与深层次分析的功能,这使得管理人员在面对复杂情况时不能及时了解相关信息,领导决策时也不能得到切实的数据支持。 数据仓库技术的发展与OLAP工具的成熟与普及使得信息孤岛问题有望得到解决,它为实现数据的多维分析提供了一个整体的解决方案。 本文在对数据仓库技术与OLAP技术研究的基础上,深入剖析现有的教务管理信息系统,设计了ETL工具,建立起教学运行数据中心,利用OLAP工具建立了一套教务多维分析系统。该教务多维分析系统目前主要包括英语四级成绩多维分析、教学工作量多维分析、学生注册报到多维分析、学生选课多维分析、学生学籍多维分析、毕业管理多维分析、教学计划多维分析、排课多维分析、招生管理多维分析等十多个子系统。 论文的主要工作在于数据仓库主题的设计与ETL数据的抽取与转换,在数掘仓库主题的设计中应用了冗余存储的设计方式,方便了主题的构建与多维分析的展示设计。同时设计了EIS模板,让多维分析展示设计变得更加简单,大大加快了多维分析系统的建设速度,减少了增加多维分析主题的工作量。 该多维分析系统还设计了一个功能使用多维分析子系统,在各个多维分析子系统使用的同时记录下每个功能的使用频率、响应时间、停留时间等信息,然后对所收集的数据进行多维分析,以此来帮助开发人员对系统的优化。 通过教务多维分析系统的使用,提高了教务管理水平,实现了教务管理的智能化与决策的科学化。
【Abstract】 With the fast development of information technology and scale of higher education, every university has set up the MIS of educational administration. It have heightened the level of educational administration management to a great extent, and has accumulated a large amount of data, by use of MIS in succession. But the MIS can’t offer the function analyzed with profound level to the data, it makes administrative staff be unable to receive and understand the relevant information in time, and the leader can’t get practical data support while making decision.The development of data warehouse technology and popularize of OLAP tools make the problem of detached island of information hopeful to be solved, it has offered a whole solution for the multi-dimension analysis of realizing the data.This thesis analyzes the existing MIS of educational administration deeply on the basis of the data warehouse and OLAP research, has designed ETL tool and set up the data centre , utilizes OLAP tool to set up the multidimensional analysis system of educational administration. The system mainly including CET-4 analysis, analysis of the workload of teaching, students register analysis, the selected lesson analysis, graduating management analysis , teaching plan analysis etc..The groundwork of the thesis lies in the design and extraction the data of data warehouse. I have used the redundant design in the design of the data warehouse theme, it help the theme construction and designing of multi-dimension analysis. I have Designed the EIS template, it make the design of multi-dimension analysis become further simple, and have accelerated the construction speed of the multi-dimension analysis system.I Have designed a function multi-dimension analysis system, it record the information of each function, such as frequency of utilization , response time , service time etc.. while using the subsystem, then analyze the data have collected, it help developer to optimize the system.It has improved the management level of the educational administration and realized the intelligent scientific process with decision of educational administration management.
