3D Autostereoscopic Display Software Design and Research

【摘要】 论文选题来源于安徽华东光电技术研究院科研项目“全彩色立体显示技术研究”和“立体显示应用软件研究”。面向的是基于视差照明、双图像显示方式的自由立体显示器。视差照明的功能是将显示表面上的奇偶像素列所构成的图像分别送入视者的左右眼,而3D自由立体显示软件的主要功能是创建使视者能够在头脑中重构出深度感的左右眼图像,除此之外,软件还设立了3D模型浏览软件应该具有的基本功能,并能够针对所涉及的自由立体显示器硬件在显示效果上的缺陷做相应的软件补偿。 论文实现了基于视差照明的立体显示原理的仿真与几何建模,建立了在显示屏前不同位置单眼所获得的奇像素列或偶像素列图像光能分布,揭示了自由立体显示器结构配置参数与在显示屏前立体视区位置参数之间的理论关系,为自由立体显示器的结构设计和3D自由立体显示软件设计提供了依据;论文论述了基于Direct3D的自由立体显示软件的基本构架,介绍了立体3D模型浏览功能的实现方法,重点在于依据虚拟3D模型空间到显示平面的映射关系揭示了3D虚拟空间的双视点设置与显示表面水平位差之间的关系;依据显示平面到真实空间之间的映射关系,揭示了显示表面上水平位差与立体显示模型深度感、前景和背景立体视觉效果之间的关系,据此获得了变形较小、有较好舒适感的立体视觉效果。 市场上主流的自由立体显示器通过硬件实现全屏范围内的奇偶列插,具有速度快的优点,适合娱乐,但作为立体显示器此种列插方式将影响运行软件的交互性,为此,在所研制的自由立体显示软件上增设了基于窗口的“软件列插”功能,通过软件操控显示表面上的显示象素列,同时实现了绿场变换,在主流配置的显示器上实现最大显示窗口每帧0.05秒的运算速度。这项工作的意义在于对软件实现列插的技术可行性进行了探讨,也为降低自由立体显示器的成本、拓展自由立体显示器的应用空间开辟了道路。

【Abstract】 This thesis comes from"autostereoscopic display research of full colorful three-dimensional show"and"autostereoscopic display software design and research", which are explored for Huadong photoelectric technique institute of Anhui province. Autostereoscopic display is based on parallax illumination and double-image display. The function of parallax illumination is to send odd pixel to right eye, and even pixel to left eye. The autostereoscopic display software of three-dimensional is to set up left and right images, which are with a deep sense in viewers’ mind. In addition, this software has the basic function of three dimensions of every software, and also creates corresponding software compensation on displaying effect for the hardware of autostereoscopic display.In this thesis, the geometry optics and simulation modeling based on parallax illumination is shown;the energy distributing of single eye seeing odd pixel or even pixel in front of LCD is set up;the theoretical connection between the system configuration parameters and the stereovision parameters is explained, which is the premise for the hardware structure and the software design of autostereoscopic display. In this thesis, the main frame of software, which is based on Direct3D, technique of three-dimensional browsing, is discussed;according to the mapping transforming from space of virtual 3D to display surface, the connection between double eyes setting in virtual 3D and horizontal position disparity in displaying surface is mainly introduced;according to the mapping transforming from display surface to real space, the connection between horizontal position disparity in displaying surface with deep sense, front scene, back scene is revealed, and the smallest distortion and the best comfortable effect is achieved.Autostereoscopic display in market mainly achieves pixel inserting of odd and even on full screen using hardware changing. It’s suitable for entertainment, and the rate is satisfactory. But this method on autostereoscopic display has operation trouble, affecting the software’ s function. Through adding button for pixel inserting of odd and even on work screen, operating pixel on display surface, and changing green pixel, the biggest rate could be 0.05s per frame on mainly autostereoscopic display. The main purpose of this task is to research the technique of odd and even pixel inserting, reduce the cost of autostereoscopic display, expand the application of autostereoscopic display.
