LaNi5和活性炭混合物储氢研究

【摘要】 测定了不同粒径下活性炭吸附氢气的量,得出了用磨碎炭的方法不能提高比表面积,使储氢量得到提高。采用容积法分别测定了氢在活性炭和LaNi5上的吸附/脱附等温线,以及氢在用不同方法混合的混合物上的吸附/脱附等温线。实验表明合金LaNi5的体积存储密度较高,而存储质量百分比较低; 活性炭的存储质量百分比较高,但体积存储密度较低。实验还表明活性炭与LaNi5球磨混合的储氢效果不如机械混合效果好,球磨时间越长,储氢量下降越多。活性炭和LaNi5机械混合后,其吸氢量等于它们吸氢量的物理加和,二者互不干扰。基于此,计算出了-80℃时,0-6MPa压力下,LaNi5与AX-21以任意比例机械混合后的体积储氢量(V(298.15K,0.1MPa)/V)和存储质量百分比(wt%)。计算结果显示,虽然活性炭和合金的优缺点有强的互补性,但是没有最佳混合比例。
【Abstract】 The sorption equilibria of hydrogen onto activated carbon, LaNi5 alloy and the mixture of them were measured with a volumetric method. The experiments show that hydrogen storage in activated carbon has low volumetric density but high weight percentage of storage, while that in LaNi5 alloy has high volumetric storage density but very low weight percentage of storage. The storage capability of their mixture decreases after ball milling, and the longer milling time, the lower storage capability. Mixing activated carbon and LaNi5 alloy mechanically, the storage capability of the mixture is shown equal to the sum of the individual capabilities. Based on the additivity of storage capacities, the weight percentage of storage(wt%, hydrogen mass/system mass) and V(0.1MPa, 298.15K)/V at -80℃ and 0-6MPa pressure of the mixture was determined for different mixing ratio. Although the storage capacity of the two materials has some complementary feature, there is no suitable proportion with which both the weight percentage and volumetric density can maintain at a relatively high level.
