基于UG的铸钢件浇注系统CAD的研究与开发

【摘要】 铸造工艺设计是铸造生产的基本组成部分和关键环节,是能否生产出优质铸件的关键。计算机数值模拟技术在铸造工艺设计中的应用日趋成熟,推动着工艺设计从传统的经验设计向计算机辅助设计发展。三维铸造工艺CAD 系统以其几何信息完整、设计结果直观、易于与CAE/CAM 系统集成的优点,成为铸造工艺CAD 系统的主流。基于以上背景,本课题以Unigraphics 软件为平台对三维工艺CAD 系统进行了初步的研究与开发。本文分析了国内外铸造工艺CAD 的发展现状和趋势,结合实际情况,将高效率绘图作为研究方向,以VC6.0 和Unigraphics 软件提供的Open API 为开发工具,对铸钢件工艺CAD 系统总体结构以及浇注系统模块进行了研究和开发。铸造工艺CAD 系统设计内容较为复杂,因此在总体设计上将其划分为多个相对独立的设计模块以便开发。为了减少模块间的相互影响,工艺文件以部件的形式加入到一个总的工艺装配体中。浇注系统设计是工艺设计的关键步骤之一,工艺CAD 系统的浇注系统模块由设计计算部分和绘图部分组成。设计计算部分对铸钢件浇注系统设计中涉及到的重要参数提供了计算方法。绘制部分利用Unigraphics 软件强大的参数化特征造型能力,实现了对浇注系统的绘制、修改、删除、移动、旋转等功能。此外,本文还对Unigraphics 中数据库的访问以及如何获取铸件胚料尺寸等相关的技术进行了研究与开发。工艺CAD 系统初步实现了快速、高效绘图的开发目标,为工艺设计人员快捷地绘制、修改浇注系统提供了方便。在此基础上,可以进一步对系统的易用性、通用性进行研究开发,以达到实用化的效果。

【Abstract】 Casting process design is the key step of the casting process. With the development of computer technology, more and more research are made on computer aided process design. Among these, 3D casting process CAD system has become the mainstream. It has the virtues of complete geometrical information, intuitionistic design result and highly integration with CAE/CAM systems. This article has made some research on 3D casting process CAD system based on Unigraphics. After analyzing the actuality and trend about casting process CAD, A developing routing of high efficiency drawing is established. According to this, a gating design system for cast steel is developed using Microsoft VC6.0 and UG/Open API. Because of the complexity of casting process design, the CAD system is designed to be composed of several modules. And in order to reduce the interference between modules, part files for each module are designed to be the components of an UG assembly. The gating CAD system is a main module of the casting process CAD software. In this article, the design of gating CAD system is composed of two parts: the design and the drawing. In design part, A method of calculating the gating system parameters is achieved. And in drawing part, the drawing, editing, deleting, moving and rotating of the gating system are developed based on the feature modeling system of Unigraphics. Also, the connection of database and the bounding-box calculation of solids are illustrated in this article. The gating design system has achieved the goal of high efficiency drawing. It can be used to make the gating design more convenient. Based on this system, a more practical casting process CAD system can be built further.
